"Dishonest! We wanted a quote for a garage door opener repair, was quoted $35 to come out, he came over, said it would be an additional $60 for his trip, without inspection said we would need to spend 900 for a new garage door opener. Asked to speak with manager regarding experience, never heard back. Do not waste your time and money!"

"BEWARE! I called this company last Monday because my garage door was acting up. We have a garage door opener and it wasn't working, of course it is 15 - 20 years old. I called them when they opened up and within 5 minutes I got a return call from a technician named Mike. I told Mike what the problem seemed to be and asked what he thought it might cost to repair the issue, at the time I thought one of the springs had broken. Mike gave me a cost that seemed reasonable so I scheduled a time for him to come out later that afternoon. He came out on time we determined that it was not a sprint but the garage door opener needed to be replaced. He gave me a cost, $950.00 which I had no idea if it was reasonable or not. I think I paid $700 or $800 dollars when we had the first garage door installed. It took Mike about 2 may 2 an half hours to complete the job. I asked him if I should make the check out to the company and he asked that I make it out to him. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST FLAG. I asked him about replacing the rubber gasket that is on the bottom of the door and he said that he would and would come out on Sunday to that. We shook hands and off he went. The next morning I get a call from Mike, Front Royal Garage Doors, wanting to set-up an appointment to come out and take a look at the problem. Imagine my shock, I said Mike you took care of me yesterday, the new Mike got upset and explained that someone stole a job from him. I said sorry and explained what the other Mike had done form me and what it cost. The New MIKE really got upset and told me I was over charged and that he would talk with the boss and get back with me. Well that got me thinking so I checked the internet for the cost of garage door opener that Mike had installed and found it listed as $239.95 and thought damn I paid this guy $700.00 for 2 hours of labor. Shame on me!!!!! I called the Mike that did the work and explained what had happened, another Mike called and said you ripped off his job and then ripped me off. Mike explained that he didn't rip of the job that he got it off the Home Advisor referral system, he even sent me the text that he received. And insisted that he didn't over charge me, I should have cancelled the check. And said that when he comes out on Sunday he will install the rubber sealer on the bottom of the door and that he needed to bring out a brace for where the garage door opener attaches to the garage door because the 'I' beam on the door was bending in and once he completes the work that I can pay him what I feel it was worth. I agreed and he came out Sunday and after the installation and him telling me that the rubber sealer was cost him $175 dollars and the brace was $200.00 and that he wanted $375.00, I wrote him a check for $300.00. So there is my LESSON. I advise anyone else who uses this service to BEWARE especially when dealing with this company who also subs it's work out to Home Advisor. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE. And yes I still have his real name and contact information."
