Reviews
"I highly recommend Alicia Dietz Studios. We commissioned a custom designed live edge walnut dining room table. The price was very reasonable and the final product was amazing. Alicia is very professional and makes a focused effort to ensure customers are satisfied. She invited us to her studio at the halfway point and gave us the opportunity to make final selections on the cuts and placement of the boards that would become the table top. All in all an amazing result at compelling value."
"I commissioned Alicia Dietz to design and craft a media console, with a small shadow box, using rough red oak planks milled from our own trees. She designed a cabinet that met my requirements and came out to our property to hand select the best boards to use. While there was a wait for the start of construction, once it began there were no interruptions and communication was excellent. The finished piece is beautiful and the quality is of the highest level. It will be treasured and passed through future generations. I will likely be a repeat client."
"Alicia is a custom furniture designer and builder. I have always wanted a custom, Craftsman-style, solid wood signature piece for my home. My wife found Alicia and commissioned her to build me a coffee table. Alicia and I worked together to select the cherry and walnut pieces. I absolutely love this table! It's everything I wanted. Every visitor to our home remarks on it and wants to know where we got it. If you ever have a chance to work with Alicia on a piece for your home, jump on the chance."
"I came to Alicia with a piece of heavy hickory wood that I was hoping to make into a live edge shelf strong enough to hold cookbooks and plants. Alicia not only helped sand, stain, edge, and drill the wood into something strong and beautiful, but she taught me so much along the way. Her explanation of each step and willingness to teach me the process gave me a sense of involvement that I was eager to have. One step into her studio and you can see her skill as a woodworker is incredible and her creativity is admirable. I cannot wait to work with her again for a bigger piece!"
"We were looking for a dining table that was handcrafted and unique. Alicia Dietz worked with us to create a stunning walnut live-edge dining table that seats 8. She collaborated throughout the entire process and the end result was a work of art - functional art. I love having a truly unique piece of furniture that I can enjoy with family and friends. Her knowledge of wood was impressive. Her knowledge was based in study and experience. I was so impressed with the dining table, that we used her to create a feature wall over our fireplace as well as a media console. I feel like I live in a gallery instead of a home :)"
