"The first time we ever went to EVO was a about 5 months ago and we had so much fun. We played practically all the games, enjoyed our movie, and loved that we could order from our seats. However, this time we went we were disappointed. Half the games are not working properly, one was even being held together by ducktape. The QR ordering was unavailable, something we were really looking forward to. We thought, whatever thats fine but once we got to our seats our tables were super sticky. The only thing good this time was the bar service. They were super helpful and nice."
"Fredericksburg, Va today was a horrible experience. My first experience with this organization. We went with grandchildren to the movies and were greeted with you have to buy tickets on line because we are transitioning to a new computer system (on a Saturday during business hours?!) When 20-15 people were standing around saying— the on line site and App aren’t working— the staff said sorry. Come back another time. Really?! Couldn’t let us in and let us pay on way out? Horrible. No customer service whatsoever."
"First experience with EVO tonight to watch a movie with 2 tweens. I was really impressed with the atmosphere, the kind and patient customer service (especially as a first time visitor). The ease of checking in as well as getting our drinks and popcorn was quick and efficient. The entire theater was clean, and comfortable. Having the recliners with the individual tables at each seat was great. We were lucky enough to have a theater that was almost empty, so that was an added plus."
"I hated everything about this place! I can’t believe no one is talking about how terrible the arcade is. Someone compared to a better Chuck E. Cheese however Chuck E. Cheese is wayyyyy better! I’ve been looking forward to visiting however I will never return. We came in from Richmond to do something different. We visited the arcade (if that’s what you can call it) only so I can’t speak for other areas and we were extremely disappointed. There was probably only 10 games and not all of them were operational. The games say they charge one amount of points however they take more than stated. The place itself is nice however the games suck. We left and went to Apex and it is way better. We’ll drive the extra 20 minutes to Apex in the future."
"We enjoy the theaters' sound system and seating. The leather recliner seats are very comfortable. The theater is usually cool, and I always wish I had a blanket or warm sweater to sniggle up. The price of a matine is the least expensive in the Hampton Roads area. We haven't always had the best experience, but a good one nonetheless. The theater recently updated the drinks and popcorn to self-serve machines. This was a great decision, considering we were never able to get theater service from the servers after delivering the popcorn and drinks they never checked back. Not even to offer refills. We even got turned away from getting our own refills at the service oick up stataion on lrevious visits. So we welcome the change in the drink and popcorn service. Refills are the only thing that makes the $10 price tags more bearable. It is ridiculous that the price of 3 drinks and popcorn is more than the price of tickets for three guests. The theater is a 5/10 on cleanliness. I rate this way because the trays and chairs don't seem to get wiped down at all. There have been times when there has been leftover trash in the theaters from the previous showing. We do prefer this theater considering what is to offer in Hampton, considering cleanliness, price, and comfort. The food on the menu is overpriced, small portions and leaves a lot to desire."
