"I repeat do not send your children to this awful center. They will not protect your children the staff will only protect each other. They allowed my 6 yr old son to sit in their center without his medical glasses for hours without calling me to give me an update that another child purposely broke the arm off his glasses. They placed his glasses in a sandwich zip lock bag with his on it and the outside and sent him along his way. The same week my other child came home with a torn sweater from another child. Suzanne called me screaming that she was so upset yelling about the situation saying this child played too much and how she isolated him by himself. Also the same day Amy made a comment “that family that attends their facility are below the average household income.” it's not a safe environment for my children nor yours. If. you notice under the reviews their always fighting with the people who leave 1-star review because they had an issue with their center and never knowledge or thanked the people who give them 5 stars. They will just use false statements saying we don't have a record of you attending their center. Avoid Amy, Suzanne, and Pastor Joe at all causes to protect your children. Thank you for responding back with a false story. You and I know both that's nearly not the fact of the event regarding to this claim. I never asked the church to take ownership of replacing the sweater. AMY, statement once she received the price tag of the sweater that she was supposedly going to send to the other parent but stated, “ she knows the mother and she can't afford to replace the sweater” and “that the church was going have to end up replacing that item because of the parent financial issues. I responded back to Amy that “the statement was offensive and none of my business to know about the child financial household income.” I ASKED severals times to pass along my information to the child parents that Amy combativly decline to provide assistance. With the glasses claim I was not called or made aware that my son (the twin of my daughter) was without his medical glasses while he was at the site. Yes, this issue happened on the school bus while in route to your site from another member with the program. Without calling me or my husband that he was without glasses and has been insulted. Your staff put the broken glaases in the sandwich ziplock bag and sent him home with a headache from squinting for hours. It's so unfortunate I chose your business for my twins that's $100 more weekly on average market price thinking I would receive more quality services. Yes, twin B glasses claim did not happen at your location however twin B glasses is a medical necessity for his vision to prevent him from being injured to himself or others. Twin A sweater claim happened on the bus also with another member of your after school program and your staff punished the child by seating him at a table by himself. Then called me making slandering statements about the child behavior issues that you have been battling. I defended the child about the steps that were taken advising that will create a hostile environment for children. I truly hope in the future your staff makes some changes because it's a safety concern. Parents, please visit Yelp to review more bad low-rating reviews! Dangerous location for children."

"We love Friends in Jesus learning center and my girls are so happy there. They always come home with tons to share and are always excited to go to school. The elementary staff is AMAZING and I am so pleased with what my children are learning and growing. The atmosphere, staff and families are welcoming. I am grateful to have a safe place to send my kids each day."

"Friends in Jesus Learning Center is amazing! I definitely recommend this school. They go above and beyond for their students. FJLC is very welcoming to all students who walk into their school. The curriculum is the best part of the entire school! The staff are joyful people. They always have a big smile on their faces! The directors are very responsive and helpful with any situation given to them! They have real classroom settings, resource classes, delicious lunches and snacks, small class sizes, as well as fun field trips for the students. Highly recommend!"

"My daughter has just finished her Kindergarten year at FJLC and it was such a great year for her. She repeated Kindergarten this year because after a year in public school she was still very far behind in her reading, writing and math skills; and had very low academic confidence. Since September this school has completely turned her around. Her reading skills are amazing (and above grade level) and most importantly she is confident to tackle new challenges and excited to learn. The small class sizes, ABEKA curriculum and outstanding teachers and staff provide a homeschool-quality education in a wonderful social and spiritual environment. They are reinforcing our family's Christian values through bible studies, verse memorization and worship. Most mornings my daughter is waking up singing a worship song - which just helps us start our day right! On the administrative side, I have also been very pleased. Management is attentive, responsive and helpful. The school is affordable and allows weekly payments. Tuition includes all sorts of extras like before and after school care, meals and snacks, books and school supplies. No page-long school supply lists handed out here! Lastly, the teachers and staff just love the kids. They are joyful people and seem genuinely fulfilled in their work. Thank you to everyone there who has made our experience there so pleasant… we look forward to another great year!"
