"Going through my first pregnancy I've had a lot questions and concerns, LifeSpring has been very helpful and caring throughout this experience, I highly recommend them"
"The staff at every location has gone above and beyond for my family. I have recommend this place to everyone I know that is either pregnant, has a young child, or just in need of some guidance with health questions. Absolutely amazing!"
"Don’t go here if you’re looking for an abortion. They do not perform them and do not refer for them. And based on the box of plastic fetuses sitting out in the open in the examination room and the general vibe of the discussions I had, they will try to discourage you. It’s a Christian organization, if you scroll down on their homepage it says it. This place is good if you are looking for free std testing and don’t mind being told how “committed relationships” are the best thing for reducing stds (they discourage having multiple partners, I have a whole pamphlet about it that they gave me.) There was a whole session with the nurse before the actual test that almost felt like a therapy session and she asked about my relationships, religion etc. I did feel like she cared and I was feeling vulnerable, so I spoke freely. At the end she asked if we could pray together and I said yes. I didn’t mind personally since I was raised Christian and just wanted free std tests. I was taken off guard at first, but I didn’t mind having this discussion and a short prayer if it meant free testing. So my personal experience wasn’t terrible, but I can see how other people might be uncomfortable, which is why I’m offering a heads up. However, I don’t want to think about how it would have gone if I was pregnant and looking for an abortion. This is NOT the place for you if you are. I didn’t want to review this place because the people I met were nice, but I had to just in case someone out there accidentally thinks this is like planned parenthood and goes there for an abortion or a referral for an abortion. When I just googled “Charlottesville Abortion,” this place popped up in the search results and that is NOT GOOD. I know they would try to discourage the person, not in the best interest of the woman, but because fundamentalist Christian ideology is the framework of this organization. If you, like me, are able to nod, smile, and just want some free std testing, this works."
"I went to ThriVe today for an early ultrasound because I recently found out I'm pregnant. The staff is FANTASTIC! Everyone I came into contact with was extremely kind and professional. I went to their Downtown and Albemarle locations and had a wonderful experience at both. I highly recommend this clinic if you are pregnant or recently had a baby. You will receive really great care and amazing resources to help you on your journey."
"My husband and I moved to Charlottesville from Rosario, Argentina last fall with our son Benjamin and I was 7 months pregnant with our second son. We had hardly anything for our new baby and they helped us take care of that through the building blocks program. Every time I go in there, the ladies who talk to me are very helpful, understanding, caring, and interested in me as a person, especially the director Jillian and one of the counselors named Johanna. Amy is also really friendly and helpful. I truly love this place. They never make me feel unwelcome or as if I'm a bother. I also love it when they pray with me."
