"For this area this is a don't miss, their gift shop is really full of interesting items, some homemade items that are very well priced and the information provided upon touring the museum is more historical accuracy of the events of the times and are very educational. Their is an entry fee and hours are very limited so plan out your visit."

"Excellent little museum fir history of Pikeville and the Cut-through. Also the Hatfield & McCoys lived near here. Would definitely recommend. I don’t recall her name, but the young lady who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and friendly."

"Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything you want to know about the Hatfield-McCoy feud, but so much more. The exhibit about coal mining and the gentleman answering questions about it we’re particularly helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit."
