"What a gem. Very clean inside. It's a tiny Spanish food market and restaurant. The lunch menu is very reasonable. I grabbed a flan dessert box for $6. Delicious!"
"This was a great find during our most recent visit to DC. It was around the corner from our hotel, which was great! They offer really good Spanish dishes and drinks and have other items like candy, olive oils and wines etc. from Spain. Would definitely recommend it."
"This was what you’d expect for the money. The food was standard and as expected except the patatas bravas and chicken sandwich. They were not up to par, authentic, or high quality. The tortilla espanola, etc… were great. The croquets are the best in dc. The shoshito peppers were very fresh but tasted boiled so that ruined them. They should have been grilled or something. My friend enjoyed his octopus. I wouldn’t order again but that is only because I have places closer that are better and equal in price. But if this was my local shop, I’d be in there for the croquets and tortilla regularly."
"Nice Spanish shop and restaurant! Here you can find a lot of Spanish goodies and pastry as well. We had here a breakfast, our sandwiches with Iberico and Serrano ham was tasty, artisan bread was crispy and delicious, and coffee was also good."
"Bright and cheerful, this new market and cafe offers Spanish food and homemade bread and pastry. Salads and sandwiches are made with quality ingredients from Taberna del Alabardero next door. A good place to check for edible gifts imported from Spain."
