I needed a watch battery replaced, which is straightforward enough - it was done pleasantly and quickly. I also had an unusual watch repair that was needed. This was also taken care of in a timely way with different steps explained clearly. The jewelry in the store and the custom pieces were excellent as well; definitely worth visiting if you need jewelry, repairs, or battery replacement! Plus, you get to support local while you do! "Thankful for Walk and Son. I was about to get engaged and wanted to be a part of the process of making the ring. Previous jewlers tried to sell me products I was not interested in from the start. I did a wax up of the ring and tried to reach out to other jewelers but was unable to have it casted in Richmond until I found out about Walker and Son. EJ talked me through the entire process and helped me carve the wax. EJ was not a sales person but an artist. He did not try to upsell me on anything. In fact, some of the recommendations he made might have made it less profitable for him. He allowed me to be a part of the process often inviting me in the shop, taking pictures and videos of each step. He was encouraging throughout the process and let me run with this idea as far as I wanted and always stepped in when needed. He set the stones and did a great job finishing and polishing the ring. I was shocked when I saw the finished product. Truly an honest business. If you are looking for a custom made, unique, artistic gift for a loved one, I would highly suggest Walker and Son."

"EJ and Richmond were amazing to work with. I had no idea where to begin with picking a design/ring to put family diamonds in but but after showing me several options and styles, we ordered the perfect one. I went in on a Saturday and had my ring by Tuesday night, after being closed on Sunday and Monday! I cannot say enough positive things about this place.
