"Update: After reaching out to corporate, management at this location called me and refunded my gift card fee. I appreciate the quick resolution by management. Massage was absolutely great and the staff was friendly. However, the $125 gift card my husband bought for me scanned as $0 even though he bought it from that location and we have the bank records for that transaction. I would not recommend buying gift cards here, they are not scanned correctly and the business pockets your money."

"So a week ago I stopped into the Lake Ridge location to find out if the gift certificate that my husband gave me for Christmas last year was usable at that location. They asked to see the gift certificate and loaded it and saw a balance that was available for use and booked me for an appointment. Yesterday, I showed up for the appointment to be informed that my gift certificate was not usable at their location and if I did not choose to pay out of pocket I would be charged a 50% cancellation fee. The manager seem to take pleasure in the power that she held to make that decision. And I stated that the error was not mine and repeated the steps that I had taken to ensure the gift certificate would be honored at this location prior to making an appointment, and was informed that should I not pay the 50% cancellation fee, that I would be banned from the location. To say that the experience was less than satisfying and that they obviously have a training issue is an understatement. I was informed yesterday that my gift certificate was a service pack and was only good at the location it was purchased at. And apparently it was my responsibility to understand and know this information and not their staffs'. This manager and location needs to learn a few things about customer service and employee training."
