"I had an emergency. Was given expert caring advice as what to do. Were a Godsend as well as putting my mind at ease. Sophie is fine!"
"Staff was wonderful - caring and knowledgeable. The clinic was very busy; nevertheless, an employee came out to the car to check my dog. The veterinarian gave us options, discussing his needed care with us. I highly recommend for after-hours needs."
"We had to put our sweet baby, Nigel, to sleep yesterday. He was 13 years old. I just wanted to thank you all for the kindness and care that you showed to myself, my family, and Nigel yesterday. They have a special room with tissues, a couch, and even relaxing aroma for you and your furbaby. The receptionist was so sweet, and she immediately went and cleaned the room and brought us back so quickly. The compassion that this staff showed to us was something that we won't forget. They communicated with us every step. They were extremely patient with us, and allowed us to have as much time as we needed before going through with putting him to rest. They handled Nigel with care before and after the process. They offered to get his paw prints for us, and even offered an "Angel Bag" to put our special Angel in. The loss of a pet is horrible, but I appreciate these wonderful people and how they dealt with the situation. The vet was wonderful. She was very thorough and his death was quick. I am thankful for this because I didn't want him to suffer. Mine and my families hearts are broken, but thank you so much for the kindness shown to us and our sweet boy."
"Typically, I try to be as understanding with those who work in healthcare or jobs pertaining to interacting with other people as I can be; but tonight, even the lowest of expectations couldn’t have been met. My partner and I are first time dog owners of a lovely 14 week old American Bulldog; so if you could assume, when our pup got into chocolate our first instinct was to call the vet. Our veterinary office has this emergency clinic linked to them, so I spoke to the lady who answered. After calculating our dogs weight and the ounces he ingested, we were advised to bring him in so they could induce vomiting. I asked prior to our arrival what the cost would be and I was told around $200 and before anything was done to him, our being informed and consent given was needed. Needless to say the first time we got any update was when the vet came out to display a near $450 bill. After being told our options, we settled with the final price she could bring us, and took our losses. She then told us to go back out into the lobby to wait for another hour. From the time we got in, to the time we left was around 5 and a half hours. When our pup came back, my partner and I couldn’t even hide our reaction. Our once white coated bulldog, was pure black and unrecognizable. The vet dropped him on me and informed me “he could use a bath” as he’d not taken the charcoal they attempted to give him. I’m not a vet, but I don’t understand how a dose of anything could spread all over his face, body, belly, paws, and tail. What really upset us was the fact that not only did she drop him onto me, but then remarked, as she was walking away, “you might not wanna get that on your clothes. Charcoal doesn’t come out.” Needless to say we didn’t have a good or even tolerable experience here and if you’ve read this far, please take our advice and find somewhere that your pup will genuinely find care and respect. This isn’t that."
"Although they were EXTREMELY busy, we feel our dog received the best care possible following an attack. They were able to save his ear, and he got very good post surgery care. So thankful for this off hours clinic."
