"I took my senior chihuahua Cisco here for his golden years and he was treated so well by Dr. Wood and team. I recently had to have him put to sleep and the vet ( Dr. Sirk) handled it with such compassion that it was the only thing that got me through the overwhelming grief of it all. Forever grateful for the entire team who treated my furry family like their own."
"We love it here. The front desk staff is always so friendly and loving to our pups when they come in for a visit. Dr. Sirk is so amazing, kind and thorough when it comes to caring for Moose and Tatanka. Thank you!"
"They all took wonderful care of my dog. At the time we were not clients of the this vet. So this was my dogs first time there. My dog is very anxious at the vet - you can literally see his body shaking but not when we walked into Old Dominion Animal Hospital. His body wasn’t shaking at all and he was calm. It was a wonderful experience. We switched to this vet after this first experience and we are so happy!"
"Dr Bolton is great. She helped me when I needed it the most. She gave me all my options though I knew I had to make the hardest decision of our baby Marlo. They are very compassionate. Thank you so much Dr. Bolton for helping me and helping know what is best for my dog."
"Basically, I adore Old Dominion Animal Hospital. My family made the switch more than 10 years ago and has now brought three dogs to them. They've seen us through well visits, sick visits, and everything in between. I first made the switch after my previous vet resorted to muzzling my dog rather can taking the time to gain her trust. I understand that this is needed at times, but the vet I saw at Old Dominion didn't need to opt for the muzzle- she simply took a few moments to hang out and let my dog settle and get acclimated to the space and to her. It made for a much less anxiety inducing experience for all of us. When it was finally time to say goodbye, my ODH vet came to our house to euthanize my dog, free of charge. The experience was so calm and positive - it was the best possible experience for a tough goodbye to a best friend. My most recent puppy LOVES the vet's office. He's been all tail wags and kisses for the staff. The team is also organized and down to earth. Highly recommend!"
