The institution is currently undergoing a rejuvenation project led by the Vikings for Life movement. The recent Stone Castle Rejuvenation Raffle awarded a lucky winner, Sarah Fleenor, with a grand prize of $5,000. The project aims to repair and refurbish the 77-year-old fortress, including the construction of "The Legacy Wall" near the stadium. The Stone Castle, named to the National Register of Historic Places, holds great significance in the community. A virtual tour of the stadium is available for those who haven't visited in a while. The mission of the Stone Castle Rejuvenation Project is to preserve its historic integrity while enhancing its functionality for students and the Bristol community. "Away seating is concrete, which is better than metal bleachers. The video scoreboard is nice. Concessions are your standard pizza, nachos, hot dogs, and other assorted candies. Lemonade is really good according to others. The chili on the chili dogs was okay. It tasted better than it looked. So far it ranks at the bottom of the concession chili dogs. Rankings so far are Gate City, Abingdon, and Tennessee High."
"Saw this as I was heading down the road. Had to see what it was. Once I was there had to get out and just walk around. Beautiful and a wall telling you the history od the stadium. A land mark you need to see."
