Chesapeake City Park

"Really large park with even a horseshoe's pit, recycling facilities, picnic areas, event area, soccer, baseball, softball for all age groups. Only had time for a quick look but I will definitely be back"

"I'm so happy I stumbled across this park one day, I had driven past it being I a new area and I thought "oh a city park" however, when I got down I enjoyed the space the views and what it has to offer. It's one of my favorite places to walk along with my husband and have good conversations."

"Chesapeake City Park is a beautiful park. The park is well maintained. There is plenty of room for huge events. And lots of spaces for children, sports and walking. The park is pet friendly too. We went to the park today for an event, a charity car show."

"I was there for the Symphony under the Stars. It is a beautifully maintained park with very wide open green spaces. It's mostly appropriate for large events, picnics, and things of that nature. There is a basketball court. The kids have PLENTY of room to run and play. The nighttime lighting could certainly be better."

"The park was very nice. Shaded areas with benches, grass, and mulch. The playground is large, had several areas of fun, and a sand play area. Cute wood theme with a lot of play activities if you have children. There is a stage for the kids to play on. Next to the playground are shaded pavilions with tables where you can grill (charcoal only), or even have gatherings. There is a restroom with, drinking fountains. Issues wood be: sand play area is not that clean, and some of the play structures are broke and boarded ( kids still jump over the boards on it)."
