Fun Forest Playground

"This is a great park for kids. There's so much to do you can easily spend a couple hours here letting your kids get that energy out. The whole play area is fenced, which is great for safety. It's mostly shaded so it's great for summer visits even on super hot days. It's been a little buggy sometimes, so bring spray. It's a great place to bring a lunch. Be aware, though, dogs are not allowed in this part of the park. The only problem I have is the lack of inclusion. I have a child in a wheelchair and other than maybe the one special needs swing (that lost its straps long ago), there's really nothing for her to do. The ramps going around the play areas are too narrow for her to go up. It's also hard to navigate parts of the park (in a chair or walker) because of the mulch. Hopefully, as more parks are doing in the area, they'll update a few sections for sensory and physically challenged kids. They want to play, too."

"We enjoyed ourselves at the Chesapeake City Park (in Greenbrier). They have nice facilities. They have a restroom, basketball court, grills(small grills), playground, & picnic tables along with a few shelters as well. We had quite a large Family gathering there & we all had a great time."

"I took my 4 children (11, 9, 7 and 5) to this park and was blown away. It is awesome. Aside from some roots they could trip over we all enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely return."

"Large, fun, wooden playground. Could use some updates, some litter and debris about. Lots of birthday parties going on when we were there. Fun trails nearby Great for a wagon ride with the kids to check out the train nearby. Watch your kids closely it is an extremely busy park. Bathrooms nearby. My kids enjoyed it"

"Great playground for a range of ages - both my 16 month old and four year old had a fun time. Lots of space for the kids to run around, there were a variety of play structures and plenty of shade for the summer."
