"The management team are top notch. They enforce rules for behavior, they keep a clean facility, and keep machines serviceable. When the management isn't present, however, the standards let up - dress code is nonexistent (LOTS of skin visible), people spending five to ten minutes sitting on machines in order to take pictures of themselves pretending to workout, and a host of people start filming themselves. In a gym that doesn't openly encourage filming, it becomes a challenge to not end up in someone's shot. Still, the quality of the facility is par excellence, and during management hours, it is the best gym in Newport News hands down. Just have to take the bad with the good."

"Nothing wrong to say about the gym itself. Staff is very friendly, environment is enjoyable and the facility is everything you may need to assist you in your fitness journey. But BEWARE it is a nightmare to cancel your gym membership, I am experiencing health problems and only wanted to freeze my account but then I was charged anyways even after providing medical proof. I’ve been going back and forth trying to cancel my membership due to the lack of communication and service. Still have not been able to cancel my membership and I’ve been trying to do this since 12/14/23."

"Great environment, friendly staff, and patrons, who are really supportive. Planet fitness says it's a judgment free zone, but it's also a lonely place. Here, your fellow patrons range from friendly to self-contained, on up to helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. Constantly welcoming and clean, with its machines regularly maintained. Not to mention the pool, sauna, and recuperation room. The price is also not too bad for the amenities. Check out their helpful trainers, like Kevin, who runs the Fit 360 classes."

"Nice gym, fairly clean, smells decent for a gym. I like that they keep cleaning supplies near all the equipment. Has a good amount of equipment. Gets pretty packed during peak hours which makes it hard to do your routine. If you’re flexible with the equipment you use then you’ll be fine during the park hours. Having classes as part of your membership is nice. There’s no basketball court if you’re into that. I love working with bosu balls and for some reason they can not keep those stocked, it went from like 6 on the rack to 1 deflated ball. Oh and read the contact before signing. You basically have to die to to get out of it. I already signed away my life so might as well use it."
