"The facility is great but something that was made for the public has been taken over by organizations that have money. Pathetic. Group of us used to come here and play soccer when there was a field available but now Strikers has taken over the whole public facility. There are days when some of the fields are not being used by Strikers, but just because they have it reserved us tax payers aren’t allowed to be on the field. For example, they would have all four fields reserved but only two of them are being used for the remainder of the day. Richmond/Henrico needs to do better and give the public a sports facility that can be used by all."

"Great park, soccer fields are all set up now. They have artificial turf, so tennis shoes are not allowed for safety reasons. Update: 10-12-2023 - soccer season in effect teams practicing. Lots of parking available"

"while the women's bathroom was closed for maintenance, a parks employee called the cops on a woman who used the men's bathroom after having a friend check that it was clear. if you have a bladder that occasionally requires emptying and prefer to do so in places where your basic human dignity is respected, don't do it here. nice turf fields tho."

"It is a very nice park with multiple fields for multiple sports. They are nicely maintained, the restrooms are clean, and there is adequate parking. Update: It's hard to tell if fields are open on the weekends due to games or events, unless you're willing to drive there and find out."

"Came here for the Legends lacrosse tournament. Nice big park with artificial turf. Concrete walkways. Lots of trash bins that were emptied out regularly. Restroom was air conditioned. There was hot water available. And restrooms were also cleaned and restocked throughout the day. Well kept park. Nice big paved parking lots with plenty of spaces but this was a huge event so parking was the usual nightmare."
