"Recently moved to the area from Savannah, Georgia where I asked a few jewelers if it was possible to fix my vintage engagement ring. It is a gold band with a jade inlay, and a large piece of the jade had fallen out. I was told there was no possible way to fix it, that the best they could do is take out the jade completely & fill it in with resin. I obviously didn't want a glorified mood ring as my engagement ring and didn't understand how something that was created could not be repaired. Wandering into Crown Jewelers on lunch break one day (with little hope) I met Jason and he shared my sentiments. The ring could of course be fixed and he was able to give me an accurate and reasonable estimate. His wife is the master jeweler and she does incredible work, the ring looks identical to it's original form. She is a true craftsman and I will be taking all my jewelry to them from now on.
