"Anyone who received their call, PLEASE confirm with the company they mentioned first! Do not make a payment over the phone directly at the very beginning! They called me claiming that I owed money to Sentera, but due to having visited several different Sentera offices in town, I was unsure which one they were referring to. The representative I spoke with refused to provide any additional information, only insisting that I pay over the phone. I certainly won't pay them over the phone. How do I know if this is not a scam? I don't know this company and even now I still think it is a scam! I contacted Sentera directly to clarify the situation, and after checking my account for all the Sentera offices I had visited, they confirmed that I had no outstanding balance. In fact, my last bill was paid approximately two months ago. Also, the representative was soooo rude. It's not only distressing to be wrongly pursued for a debt I didn't owe, but the unprofessional and impolite behavior of the representative from this debt collection agency made the experience even more frustrating."

"I am in the process of hiring a lawyer and taking these people to court . They keep reporting false information on my credit I don’t even know who they are they claim it is from a “ Medical debit “ I own Sentera Hospital which is incorrect! I submitted a complaint with CFPB with a fraud report and they are still refusing to remove it from my credit . The collection they keep reporting is NOT mine as I have insurance and my health insurance covers everything, second I have not lived in the state of Virginia for the past 5-6 years !! As mentioned my whole identity was stolen I sent proof and they refused to deleted it ! I have the money to pay for the debit which is $3,000 and something but I refused to pay for something that isn’t mine !! I my money will go to a lawyer , this people are heartless and rude !! I don’t know what else they want from me !! I submitted a fraud police report and nothing has been remove !! See you in court !!!!"

"Updated 05/27 - They're even worse than I had originally thought. They can't even keep your sensitive, personal information secure. They fell prey to hackers and now my information, including my full social security number are all over the dark web. Monitoring my credit is going to be an absolute nightmare. And I'm not alone in this. Read everyone else's reviews. It's clear as day, that the only good reviews they have were written by employees or were paid for. No one leaves a 5 star glowing review for a shady, harassing debt collector. Original Review It's incredibly shady and a major red flag when a debt collector refuses to do business through written communication. The only time you wouldn't want a paper trail, is if you're trying to hide something. I highly recommend everyone dispute every account with them."

"Absolute worst debt collection agency on the web! My medical bill was sent to them after my payment to the hospital was a hair late. Ok no biggie it is what it is. Made payments for two years to these crooks and called to get the remaining balance in an attempt to pay off the remaining amount and I’m told I was paying on past debts that I myself knew I had paid directly to the hospital. Long story short, I’ve been paying on debt that never existed or was double charged for. Now I’m told I still owe 1100 dollars on a 1900 dollar bill after two years of payments??? What an absolute scam these guys are! They’ll never get another dime from me!!! Oh here’s the best part. I log into my hospital online account and it shows that I owe nothing to them at all??? So I guess they’re just straight scamming me now for fraudulent payments on bills that don’t exist! I can’t wait to actually talk to someone at the hospital tomorrow and get records for bills being paid in full and take that to my lawyer for the money they’ve been scamming me on. This is far from over!!!!"
