"So banks aren't usually a place where the best service can be found as some comments seem to indicate, but let me tell you that today thanks two of the bank employees: Tiffany Curtis and Mercedes Townes, they helped us way above and beyond the call! I drove to NN from the Philadelphia to help my mother with her accounts and did not have an appointment. Tiffany called around to see if any other of the banks had openings and when they did not, Mercedes started the work and Tiffany finished it up... no easy task as it took completing multiple forms and requesting BofA corporate legal to get involved and approve our requests. Kudos's to both Tiffany and Mercedes for helping us out!!"
"We got up early this morning to drive from North Carolina to Newport News in order to take care of an insurance check (which required my father in law’s signature) only to be in told by my bank that they couldn’t cash and deposit it- and that if we’d have to wait until the 13th…the money is for us to purchase a car today so we arrived to BOA to discover a very, very long line of folks. The tellers were pleasant and efficient- especially the lovely woman who assisted us- Tiffany Curtis. Remarkable service, a wonderful attitude even in the face of grumpy folks being difficult (I hope we were neither!). I thoroughly enjoyed her presence and her competence- truly a model human and exemplary customer service employee!"
"I have had my salary deposited at Bank of America for over 20 years, so I have used the notary services provided at several BofA branches. Dani Ferreira at this branch has helped me two times in the past year, and she provides exceptional customer service. She is very helpful, professional, and friendly, and with great people skills in both English and Spanish, I know that because she is fully bilingual as I am. Go to her for any banking function or notarial service, and you will leave the bank happy!"
"Never cash a check here again. I just waited for almost an hour in line because 1 teller was on the phone, The other lady must’ve been manager because she did nothing but watch the other teller work… all while 4 other people walked in and waited behind me. THEE Worse customer service experience (they wont even serving lol) I have ever received at a BOA. Choose another BOA in the area if you need teller service."
"I opened an account to be able to exchange my money for foreign currency as I'm going on vacation soon. I deposited $3000 from my Bayport account, and Bank of America put it on hold for two weeks I wasn't able to access it despite constantly scheduling appointments with the staff and calling customer support. Imagine the stress of going on vacation to a foreign country with no money. There's only one teller for a line of twenty people. And then they have an employee walking up and down the line asking people if they want to apply for loans or open an account. It's a scam; they know what they're doing. The drive-in teller service is closed down. The waiting area has a loud TV that just blasts advertisements at you for loans and other services. They're fully aware they're going to anger people, so they hired a security guard. They charge you $15 every month to even have an account like you're getting some premium service. You could go 5 minutes down the road and open an account at a local credit union for free (which helps your local economy), or you could support this big incompetent mismanaged corporation that lobbies politicians for special interests (you can google that.) Don't give these jokers your money. Go to a credit union."
