"Initially, Mr. Brickhouse presented as amiable and ordinary. However, as our interactions progressed, concerns arose. His honesty was questionable, and his behavior, including rolling his eyes during conversations became unsettling. During an in person meeting, he disclosed having ADHD, and expressed affection in an unusual manner. Three days before a crucial court date, he abruptly withdrew from my case after I challenged him on inaccuracies, ending the call abruptly. Subsequently, I found myself representing remotely in a court room from another State due to insufficient time to secure new counsel. Despite leaving a voice message and email for Mr. Oast about this situation, there was no courtesy of a response. This lack of communication left me feeling mistreated by supposed professionals. I cannot recommend Mr. Brickhouse due to his unpredictable demeanor, and the misinformation that led me down a misleading path. During our first meeting with the judge, Mr. Brickhouse’s error resulted in a costly $2200 bond. His cost estimates were consistently inaccurate, creating financial surprises. Furthermore, a mixup of names during another court appearance worked to my disadvantage, showcasing a clear lack of attention to detail and communication on Mr. Brickhouse’s part. Frustrations mounted as emails went unanswered, and his preference for conference calls suggested and aversion to written records. Moreover, Mr. Brickhouse’s attempt to convince me of a standard court practice proved false during a remote hearing. This compounded my disappointment and underscored the overall negative experience with his legal representation."
"They helped us with estate planning."
"I agree with Wilmer Todd as my sister and I had a massively positive experience during a very traumatic time. Like many people, our mom never created a will and we learned disturbing things after her death in Aug. of 2016. Mr. Oast helped my sister and I find answers whereas we previously could not get any from our other sister who we later found to have aided another thief in stealing nearly a quarter million dollars from our mom with dementia before she died (while that thieving sister even used our mom's bank accounts to pay her own bills without our mom's knowledge or permission). Unsurprisingly, thieving sister hates Mr. Oast but she sure cashed the checks as beneficiary that she was still legally entitled to! Oast & Taylor was able to get us what we deserved as beneficiaries and help me access records that I would not have had access to without becoming administrator. They answered any questions and did everything expected and then some! We got the answers we needed to the questions our sister intentionally obfuscated on, we were able to get the funds we deserved as beneficiaries, and move forward as best we could after our mom's death with the proof of what our sister and another person had done. I highly recommend them if you are a person who can ASK questions, COMPARE what you are getting here versus other firms, and are naturally curious enough to make sure you do what's needed as well. Their services are in line with any other firm of their caliber & they are upfront about their fees, I don't understand why some people act as if their efforts should be paid at fast food hourly rates. If rates are a concern, ask! I highly recommend Oast & Taylor."
"Can't sing high enough praise for Steve Taylor and legal aide Doris!"
