"This restaurant is located inside the Shenandoah lodge property and we were lucky enough to find it on a weekend getaway! This was the best BBQ I think I have ever had. My husband had ribs and they were great too. This restaurant has a great atmosphere complete with TVs and beverages. There is Disc Golf competitions also on the property with plenty of parking and outside seating by the restaurant and picnic tables. This is a must-stop if you are anywhere in the vicinity."
"This is a great time for the family. I highly recommend checking it out. Not only do they have fantastic food and hospitality there are three excellent courses to try out. Then once you’re done you can hang out in the shop that has a myriad of different disc brands including Innova, dynamic discs and Lattitude and have a beer with the owner David Snow. Great people. Great place. Great time!"
"DISC GOLFER'S PARADISE Went to Raptor's Roost for the first time this past weekend. WOW! It did not disappoint. Amazing golf, well stocked proshop, and the bbq-focused restaurant & bar with the best ribs. A few highlights: - 2 pro-level courses with multiple teepads and baskets - perfect for ANY skill level. - Amazing mix of tight wooded lines and open "grip it n rip it" shots - Course is well-maintained and grass cut low where needed. - Clubhouse is just the icing on the cake. The ability to cool off, have food/drink between rounds/ after is clutch. And Jomez was on the TV! Seriously, don't sleep on RR. A true destination spot."
"This course is a great course, sort of a hidden gem in the area. There are multiple tees on each hole, so if you're a more serious player, there's plenty of opportunity for a challenge. My only advice would be to come prepared, especially if it's a warm day. It's kind of a hilly course with a lot of walking and not a ton of shade on the course itself. If you're planning on only playing nine holes, you'll still be on the far end of the course after hole 9 and still a pretty good distance from the clubhouse. I guess what I'm saying is wear your walking shoes and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The owner and the men working in the clubhouse could not have been more kind and welcoming. Highly recommend."
"Very well done course! My son and I played the Main (big?) wing. Lots of ups and downs, so bring your comfy shoes (it WAS an actual golf course after all). Very open course, but baskets placed in very strategic spots that still created a nice challenge. We also played their 9-home par 2 course afterwards, and it was fun and a challenge in itself! There are 2 other courses (I think) that we will have to return to. The owner, David Snow, was so welcoming to my son and I. He took a lot of time to talk to us, explain the history, and helped my 14 yr old pick out a new disc. We will definitely be back soon!"
