Reviews
"I’ve lived in 12 different areas in my life and nowhere have I experienced a Postal Service staff as professional, kind and courteous as I have in McGaheysville."
"Nice little PO - never had any issues. The younger gal with the reddish hair is so friendly and helpful."
"I had a problem with the package that was sent to me from Blacksburg USPS. The package was lost for days and had no updates on the the tracking info. Emily from McGaheysville USPS was very helpful and was very professional enough to call me. She had reach out to the concerned Usps branch and found the lost package. Thank you!"
"Constant problems with the carriers from this Post Office. They are contract and not postal employees. One female broke my new mailbox. Because they want to look like they care completing deliveries on time, they report packages as delivered in the mailbox or porch but they don't actually show up for another day or two. Unfortunately, we are stuck with them. They need to bring in different contract carriers. At least some honest ones who don't break the mailboxes."
"All of the workers are lazy they don't want to do anything when packages come in they don't start them for a long while one lady straight up told my girlfriend that she did not feel like sorting the packages because she was by herself so my girlfriend got her package the following day and I was told they had not finished sorting after that had packages for 2 hours. ridiculous. **UPDATE** This place is still garbage. I have an expensive package i was expecting today. They checked it in and just didnt deliver it. Out of pure laziness."
