"If you're a trucker like me, you want to keep moving to be successful. We usually do a drop and hook here, and it's the fastest way to get in and out. They're very easy to work with here, and if you're exhausted they'll even let you park and sleep without interruption. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, except for the smell that we encounter at any meat processing plant. Drive safe, and don't drive distracted!!!"

"First take your empty to the Premium Pet Health [Smithfield] building down the road, they'll have you drop your empty in their lot to the right side. Bobtail over to the main Smithfield truck entrance and they'll have you park in their bobtail lot [overnight available], then put on a neon safety vest and walk over to the side of building far right. Go inside and walk up the stairs to the top. Go past the break room [vending machines available], and to the check in window. They'll check you in and send you to shipping. Enter through their office door to the other side. Exit onto the outside staircase and walk down a couple levels to the shipping door entrance. Then after entering you will see the shipping office inside. They'll check you in and call your cell when load is ready. When they call go back up to the top level office for bills."

"Staff in shipping/receiving was very short attitude wise. She acted like it bothered her to ask me to fill out their form and tell me to go wait. As far as wait time I showed up at 1145 didnt get my load till 1850"

"The reason I gave them three stars is because they have a security guard there that I think she works in the evening and. I don't know if she's having man problems or should just take that job way too serious but I'm a truck driver my job is to make sure that my load is secured by putting a lock on the back of my trailer & making sure that they put a seal on it and driving safely to the receiver. Who was the truck in front of me on its way out she came out some pictures of the truck Texas Reaper sign him out and let him go when I pulled up she went to look inside asking me all these crazy questions and when I went to try to talk all smart so when I said we'll go get your supervisor then she says where you're fine you can go slam the door to the guard shack. But other than that it's a pretty cool place they just slow on getting you loaded."

"It's a screwy setup for my company, go to one side of the road to drop an empty trailer then bobtail to the other side to pick up a loaded trailer. Have to go thru security on both sides separately.......okey dokey. Your sent to one side of the building to "check" on if your load is ready. Ours are always ready when we arrive but you must go here first and "check". Then your sent back outside and around to the other side of the building to then go upstairs and get your paperwork. Makes little sense and costs you additional time, drivers can't afford to lose time! Then you have to find your trailer out back, always fun. Then scale it, gross weight is nice but I'd prefer axle weights too, you only get a gross weight here. Back thru security again. Every time you go thru security your going to have your trailer getting photographed. And the smell..........yuck! Also, be nice to security, they are 3rd party and have no idea why your load isn't ready. Saw it on both runs out of there where a driver got nasty with them when they have nothing to do with your load except making sure it's sealed when you leave."
