"I LOVE Primrose Academy of VB South! I was so sad we had to leave due to our move. I honestly cannot thank the staff at this daycare enough for how much they love and cared for my little boy. They always kept his well-being and safety in mind. I was a nervous wreck originally putting him into a daycare but the peace of mind I received from Primrose made it such an easy transition for both of us. Since day one my boy was already learning new things and having a great time at daycare! He would come home with paintings or singing songs! I cannot recommend Primrose Academy enough! 10/10!!! I’m gonna miss seeing the staff! Thank you again for caring for my boy!!!"
"Was terminated for leaving 3 hours early to go to urgent care because I was feeling awful. I was treated as if I were making it up to get out of work when it was obvious that I was sick. I was told that unless I had a communicable disease I was expected to report the next day and that they would cover me for the remainder of the day. When I asked for clarification on the communicable disease list I was told I was being weird and that I was a red flag. I reported to work the next day still felt awful and was fired on the spot. I had never missed any days and that was the first time I had asked to leave. I was trying to push through the day but was coughing so much that another teacher suggested that I let management know. They could care less! Absolutely no compassion for their staff and down right rude! The other teachers talk about how they can’t keep good teachers and I can see why. Don’t waste your time working here."
"I applied for an assistant director position which I was looking forward to interview for with what I've heard from fellow colleagues. To be completely honest, I have never experienced or even heard of a situation like what occurred where an applicant was offered an interview time and date which, was asked by the applicant (me) to confirm one of the original offers the same day and then sent a confirmation email the following day only to be informed that the interview slot was no longer available and that in the duration of the time within the 2.5 hour email exchange that all of the slots were booked. She concluded the email stating that she is no longer coordinating with me about an interview time (that I was originally offered in the initial email displaying interest. Due to this outright unprofessionalism that the director displayed, I withdrew my name from consideration and also any other openings with this company moving forward. I feel uneasy as I have never made a public review in a negative light like this before but this was just astonishing to me. I discussed the situation to several colleagues ranging in various levels of superiority and credentials in this field and everyone agreed that this was extremely unprofessional."
"Not sure how anyone can give this establishment less than 5 stars. The staff and teachers are friendly, always smiling and my daughter comes home happy and their curriculum is outstanding. This place is a MUST VISIT. If you are lucky to get in. Count your blessings. Their outside for kids to play is huge too. Again this deserves 5+ stars."
"My tour with your facility was entirely different from any tour I've taken with other establishments in the area, in the sense that it felt extremely rushed. I was only taken to the one infant room and there was no mention of the Primrose philosophy or anything about the curriculum that differentiates your school from others. At the time when I took my tour, I was told there was a space available in the infant room with a December start date. I was provided a start date agreement that went over tuition fees and was told that the agreement would expire in essentially 24 hours. Your facility was the first to offer me a start date agreement, after searching and being waitlisted with other facilities for months. Because I was told of the agreement expiration date, I assumed I had some time to discuss with my husband (who was not present at the time of the tour) and we were given some time to either accept or decline the offer. I had no idea nor was I told that the same offer would be extended to another family on the very same day. Even though I emailed my form back to your facility later on that same evening, I received an email the next day stating that another family already sent in their agreement and that there were no spots available for my child. To say I was upset and extremely frustrated is an understatement. I understand I may have raised my voice to the person I was speaking with over the phone, and for that I apologize. But because I was not given the opportunity to accept or decline the offer that was initially offered within the agreement expiration date, it made me feel that your establishment does not seem to care about prospective families. Your staff does not seem to have compassion for the families that are currently undergoing this difficult process of finding childcare that is extremely limited in our area. The person that I spoke with over the phone seemed to have an attitude of "well you should have submitted your form sooner." If that is the basis of the philosophy within your establishment, then I certainly do not feel comfortable leaving my child in your care. I can only hope that you take my concerns and my situation into consideration when speaking with future prospective families."
