"Kempsville is great, and I couldn't ask for anything better. There are specific teachers I have issues with, Ms. Ockert for instance. Also I kind of have a problem with the counseling, because they've adopted some sort of philosphy, making it where, the higher the grade level you are, the less help they are. I believe your senior year, they should almost be of the most help. One wrong move could screw you up. Something gets forgotten, or not turned in or filled out properly, and that college may not let you in. I think there's no reason for them to babysit you and do everything for you, but they can check in every once in awhile and make sure you're getting the right stuff in on time. Other then that, I have loved this school, and I am really glad this is the one I'm in for the rest of my high school career."

"Barely any help for IEP students. I was sent to Cox High School because my needs were not taken care of at this school. Great school and mostly friendly teachers, however they do have a cockroach problem and the food is terrible. If you are a non IEP student, it's an OK school. However, if you do happen to be an IEP student, do not bother with this school."
