Kinsale Insurance Company

"We had a fire claim 3 years ago for one of our garages, and Kinsale helped us greatly. No complaints whatsoever. We just had a storm roll through and rip shingles off our roof, so making a new claim to cover this damage. Will update after the process. Considering we were taking care of with our first claim, I can’t see this one going any other way. I see many people having issues with the business side of things, but we’ve always been treated right as a homeowner."

"Still waiting to receive over $1,500. they owe me since June when they were informed we were no longer insured by them. They DO NOT answer calls! Avoid like the plague."

"Escrow sent payment on June 1st. Kensly cashed said check in June 9th. In July they sent me a cancellation letter. I called my mortgage company in August and kensly I after several calls back and forth kensly finally acknowledged that they did receive and cash the check. Now 10-16-23 kensly is emailing me yet another cancellation letter. Claiming once again they never received that same payment. Idk how this company is being operated but this level of incompetence is astounding. I will not be using this company going forward."

"This insurance company is a Scam. Stay away from. They Would not stand behind a clear claim of damage that happened from their drivers. I was never shown a damage report. I filed a claim next morning and was never communicated with and was finally told it was denied. This was after being told in would be covered and not to worry."

"Not small business friendly if you don't have an immediate large profit margin. Thankfully my displeasure about the excessive charges led me to find a great company that is very good with small businesses. I would highly recommend doing some research online and avoiding Kinsale for business insurance. I have more insurance coverage with my new company than I did with Kinsale and I paid $3600 less for it."
