"Purchased some sandal slides as shoes to wear inside my home (recommended by a podiatrist to help with plantar fasciitis). Wore them for about an hour and determined they were a size too small; seeing as the sandals were $60, I kept the receipt and tag with hopes that I might exchange them for one size larger. Came back 2 days after I purchased the sandals and was told, “…we can’t take them back because they have been worn. We can’t resell them.” This was my first time inside Cooks in 19 years, and I am reminded why. Overpriced, and heaven forbid you try your $60 slides for an hour. Folks are pretty nice though."
