"I always go to the Take 5 oil change on Lynnhaven Pkwy. It is always a wonderful experience. Gabrielle & Reek took care of my oil change. They both were excellent. They truly cared about giving me the very best customer experience I could have. it was a privilege for me to have the 2 of them . they are an excellent team. Please let the both of them know, what a beautiful team they are. Recognition is rally important"
"Gets the job done fast! When I go, they are nice and courteous (ask if you would like a bottle of water), ask reasonable questions, and they make sure to keep you updated with everything they are doing. They even checked and filled my windshield washer fluid! They gave suggestions for what else may need to be done, like Engine filters, etc. They also offer oil top-off within a certain number of miles after oil change, if needed. This place has not failed me yet! As long as I don’t experience any issues, I will keep going back to them"
"I called this Take 5 service center to speak to a manager. I informed him that I needed to return to the center to have my oil filter housing cap loosened as they were the last ones to change my oil and they put the cap on so tight that it was stuck. He said to come and they can fix it but not sure why it was stuck since they don’t use tools to install anything , just hand tighten everything. When I arrived, I informed them what I was there for. They pulled me in, and the manager, Sean, walked around the shop like he was there to prove a point. He proceeded to yell at his coworkers to get out of the way, he has this. He grabbed a pair of needle-nose vice grips, and put them on my oil cap on top of the engine (didn’t even try to just use his hands, even though they don’t use tools, just hand tighten everything) and removed my oil fill cap. Then, from under the hood through the windshield, he holds it up and said “this is what you needed me to remove?” “No,” I said. “My oil filter housing cap.” Had he listened and wanted to help a customer instead of being rude and cocky, he may have understood me from the beginning. He then proceeded to laugh at me and said he cannot do that without doing an oil change at a cost to me. I told him I don’t want their service of an oil change and I’m not paying him to fix a mistake they made to begin with. Then, all four of the workers came over to my car and started laughing and telling me I was incompetent. They each then proceeded to wager with one another who could break it free and get it loosened, to show that I was not strong enough but they were. Then the female worker came to my window and asked what I needed. I asked if she was a manager and she said she was they assistant manager. I told her the situation and that it was her who put last changed my filter during my last oil change. She pulled it up in their system and confirmed that it was her and the store manager who did my last oil change. She then laughed at me as well and said that they would get it loosened and let me be on my way. The manager, Sean, then grabbed his tools (reminder that they don’t use any tools, just hand tighten) and got in the pit to loosen the cap. He had to use so much effort that my entire vehicle was bouncing around as he was trying to loosen it. He then got it to break loose and yelled out from in the pit, “got it, told you it’s not stuck.” Then the “assistant manager” made the note in the system and said she was happy to put in the comments that I did not wish to return to the establishment for service on my vehicle in the future. Wait, what?!?! Are you not supposed to try to earn customer service, not treat customers so poorly? I was absolutely astonished by the way each of these young workers were so rude, especially with other customers in the other bay getting their oil changed. I can only hope there were cameras going for the store and district managers to watch and see how incredibly rude their employees were and how they treated a continuous customer. When I got home and removed my oil filter housing cap to change the filter, they had it tightened on there so much that the top of the threads were crushed. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment for their service again."
"I LOVE getting my oil changed at this location. I moved here recently and every time I go I have such a great experience with all the workers. Last time I showed up as the first customer of the day with a lot of car problems and a horrible mood, Chrissy and Gabrielle changed my entire day around immediately. Their vibes were amazing and the only two workers there. They did amazing! Those two made me more of a loyal customer than I was before :)) Great workers and so enjoyable to be around!"
"The courteous, professional and knowledgeable understanding of oils and engines is why they are the go to shop in Virginia Beach for my vehicles."
