Reviews of Aspen Dental
"If you're looking for a friendly, easy going, no pressure, dental office with integrity and compassion... This is it! The front staff were all very friendly and accommodating. My X-ray tech, Daisha (sorry if I misspelled) was funny and kind! My hygienist, Ashley, was so nice and I instantly liked her and her personality! Dr Bittner was thorough, informative and listened to my concerns. He didn't judge me or make me feel embarrassed by my lack of seeing a dentist regularly. He gave me a comprehensive look at my treatment options and what he recommends to help me get my dental health back on track. And finally... Kaitlyn, the office manager, was down to earth, very sweet and really cares about her patients and her staff. I've never been happier or more comfortable going to any dental office for the first time until this office! I'm honestly impressed and really glad I didn't let the negative reviews deter me from scheduling my appt. I'm looking forward to many years of a great relationship with this dentist and staff!!!"
"Do not go here unless you want to be told you have dental issues you don’t have and charged for services that are not Indicated. I have been to this office a couple of times and only seen the dentist once and was diagnosed by the hygienist with periodontal disease. I have never had dental issues not even a cavity. I was told I needed a deep cleaning and to come back every 3 months. Scheduling anything was difficult because they do not answer their phones but once I was able to come in for the deep cleaning they made me get up from the exam chair to do my co pay. I was told my insurance approved the rest. After the deep cleaning I received letters in the mail saying my deep cleaning might not be covered even though the office manager explicitly told me we are all good. I was skeptical of my diagnosis. I went to a real dentist office and scored the exact same on exam as I did at Aspen (1-3s which is healthy) and was told I’m perfectly healthy no periodontal disease. The hygienist told me that Aspen dental is known for this. They tell patients they have periodontal diseases and have them spend hundreds to thousands on a periodontal maintenance plan they do not need. They took advantage of one of her elderly patient in this manner. My co worker had this same exact experience as well and actually had more issues AFTER the deep cleaning. Also when performing the deep cleaning they only use numbing gel where a true deep cleaning requires numbing shots. Pretty sure they are doing regular cleanings with the numbing gel and charging for a $600+ deep cleaning. I have a complaint ticket open with the office manager but when calling back I keep going to VM. As a healthcare worker I could NEVER imagine telling a patient they have a condition they don’t have and putting them through emotional and physical stress to get treatment they do not need."
"Everytime I go they reschedule my appointments months out from one another. Today was my last time trying them. They expect people that work just as they do to be flexible to their schedule and adhere but don’t adhere to the same policy."
"My first time using Aspen Dental. Everyone was very nice and treated you with respect. The Dentist was nice but the reason I went was for some pain that did slow down. When she looked at the X-rays she did see a little infection but did not want to give me any thing for it. I felt that a mild antibiotic would have helped take it away quicker. Other than that it was a very nice place and people"
"The office and exam rooms are very clean. The dentist, dental hygienist are very polite as are the others staff. The cost was a bit more than I expected. I was given mouthwash and special tooth paste with an Oral-B GeniusX electric toothbrush. They don't say that im paying for but I am. I would like to have had the option to decide on my own or at leasttell me its includedin my bill. There is a $20.00 rebate that I must have a receipt for which i didn't receive. Otherwise it's an excellent dental facility and I do look forward to the restoration of my smile. I look for to smiling like I never have."
