"Unfortunately, I needed autobody work in the past. Fortunately, I was intially directed to PRO Collision by our insurance. They do good work and keep you in the loop with updated text throughout their process. I will continue to go to Pro Collision and strongly recommend them."
"It is not common for me to leave bad reviews on Google, however, our experience with Pro Collision auto left me very disappointed with the small town neighborly experience. I am writing this as a proxy to my nephew and his Mother because they are unable to accurately describe to the world how exploitive Pro Collision is. My Nephew Stephen just recently saved up and purchased a used car. Around the same time he moved out from his Moms and was working really hard at 2 jobs in order to pay his own way in life. As we all know, it is very difficult to be a functioning member of society without transportation especially when living in the country and having this car enabled Stephen to travel to both of his jobs and even transport co-workers who did not have transportation. Unfortunately, on the night of 12/30/2023 (New Years Eve-eve) he was involved in a small accident. Pro Collision was called to the scene and towed his car back to their shop that night. The next morning Stephen went to the shop to inquire about how to get some of his belongings from his car. Pro Collision was adamant that he would not be allowed any access to his car until he paid the tow bill of $715.00, which he was unable to afford. The accident happened on Rt 20, just by the airport in orange, and their shop was less that 5 miles away. We thought this bill was unusually high and exploitative. It was a very minor accident and there was very little road cleanup. Now as we all know, emergency services are always more costly, however this seemed like modern day highway robbery (literally)! Stephen did not have enough money to pay the costly bill so I returned with him and his Mother later in the day to see if there was any way to gain access to his car for a few of his personal items and resolve the situation. After a somewhat lengthy emotional interaction with the lady at the desk, I made the decision to pay the outrageous bill for my Nephew. We were then informed that we needed to remove the vehicle from their property ASAP or they were going to start charging us “Storage fees”. Long story short, they took the title to the car along with $715 since we had no means to move it quickly because it was the Holidays. 2 Days later, Stephen and his mother Louise still felt very obligated to pay me back so Louise went back to discuss if there was some way to get refunded a partial amount that would have made the whole bill much more reasonable. David Rut, a successful businessman (according to the standards of society) who also portrays himself as a Christian, refused to give them any compassion or sympathy and made Louise feel quite belittled. I fully recognize a business has a right to charge what they want for the services they provide, however this whole situation really discouraged my hope for humanity. Also, the readiness/eagerness that David showed to capitalize so substantially off of someone's misfortune was quite alarming since he portrays himself as a Christian. The Christians that I know would have reacted much differently to a situation like this and it is a real shame that a company like this is representing Christ while acting “un-Christ-like”. Not only that, I have always enjoyed the small town community that orange is, so I was taken aback at the sheer greed this business displayed in contrast to other local businesses who would NEVER have treated misfortunate people in this manner. I write this review to make people aware that this business is NOT operated in Christ like manner and please do not judge Christians or Christianity based on these people. Also, there are many other shops that provide similar services without the greedy mentality that this one has."
"Rental policy made juggling cars around the holidays much easier - and the text updates during repairs kept us well informed when the work was going to be complete. And the quality of the repairs is great - cant even tell there was damage! I'd highly recommend!"
"Pro Collision exceeded my expectations, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, they repaired my car quickly and efficiently, and even cleaned the inside and outside of my car when they returned it. I think the pricing is fair too. Thanks again to everyone at Pro Collision."
"Well, if first impressions count for a lot in business, that would be truly unfortunate for this place when it comes to my 2 cents. A Lexus 300 model of 97 which once was in the possession of a member of my family was impounded due to legal circumstances. I’m not refuting that, the member of my family messed up, and there is no excuse for it. The problem I had was when I got in touch with said place, 3 months after the car was impounded, I called on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023. The first asked if the car was still around, because, I don’t know how much time after the car was impounded before they can claim the rights and sell it off. I was told by the clerk at the time, that they still had said car. Ok I ask if a possible payment plan could begin being worked out, and the clerk told me, the owner would be in on Friday. I was asked to call then for better understanding on the situation. I called today on Friday Sept 8, 2023 around 1:15pm. The same clerk from Tuesday answered, and after I said my name, and mentioned I called earlier in the week, regarding the Lexus, the call was lost. Ok no problem, call them again, I hear the phone picked up, then put back down, call lost. At this point, I began to feel very exasperated by what felt like a rude way of not wanting to talk to me. I call a third time, and the owner picks up. I thought, well, whatever now to see what can be done. As he viewed through the car logs, he then said they got rid of it some time ago. I could have asked more to confirm more, but at this point, I didn’t feel like dealing with what I felt was rude unprofessional service anymore. 2 things bugged me about my initial and probably last experience with this place. First, just be forthcoming. If I was told on Tuesday, the car was already sold, well, so be it, that’s life. To be given fake hope on a car already gone is just completely inconsiderate..(Especially since it was my late Mother’s car prior to 2019) Second, I herd a lot of good things in reviews about said place, so why did this happen? On their website, it states it’s a family business that takes pride in being professional. For me, first impression completely comprised that, because ain’t now makes me question the owner as much as the clerk. Once again, this is just my 2 cents, and while my opinion of said place is quite negative, I just hope no one else goes through something like this."
