"we stopped in Zumiez (Patrick Henry Mall) which isn't event a store id usually go into and the employees were all so nice and helpful especially Landon. He was so kind to my 8yo son (who made sure to walk past the store and say goodbye when we were leaving) Landon apologized for a box in the store that I wouldn't have even paid attention to had he not said something and was just overall kind even though we were just browsing. I was really trying to find something in my budget for that day just to buy because of the their positive attitudes and I really intended to purchase things in other stores more that I didn't buy because the employees appeared more interested in doing anything but generate sales Id def go back to Zumiez, specifically this locarion."

"RACIST STORE AND MANAGER/ ZERO STARS Store #414 manager Bradley H. On November 27, 2022 my teenage son and I. Were shopping at your Williamsburg VA outlet Zumiez store. We enter the store which was empty no customers only two caucasian sales associate, one the manager Bradley H. As we enter the store, Bradley complemented my son on his jacket and his pants. He said he really liked his jacket and it was cool. As we walked around look at items. Bradley continue to follow us around in a harassing manner. He never left our side as if we were a threat to him or were trying to steal something. We spoke and remain friendly the whole 5 to 10 minutes while in the store. I felt uncomfortable, so we left without purchasing anything. As we walked away about 2 to 3 stores away from Zumiez. The sales associate came running behind my son and I, and ask did we pay for his jacket! He told me his manager Bradley told him to chase behind us to make sure the jacket was not stolen. I was profoundly embarrass and upset so I returned back to the store to confront the manager Bradley. I explained to Bradley. He know my son had the jacket on when he entered the store, because he complimented him on the jacket as soon as we entered the Zumiez store. Which confirmed he wore it into the store. I continue to explain we were the only customer in the store for at least 5 to 10 minutes shopping and you kept following and harassing us. We were both empty-handed with no shopping bags. We were not acting suspicious or were we a threat to anyone while in the store. I was shopping, and you know for a fact I was not stealing. I informed Bradley that I will be filing a complaint for racial profiling and harassment. Also for reckless endangerment of an employee, by asking the sales associate to approach a customer after they have exit the store. He put his life a risk . I could’ve had a weapon and he could have been hurt or killed. Your manager Bradley H at store #414 racially profiled and harassed my son and I because we are African-American. Due to this bluntly racial profiling, you have lost a customer and I would definitely spread the word around my African-American community. We will not support a company that does not respect or value African-American customers."
