Reviews
"I appreciate when excellent customer service is given! I want to thank Jennifer (at the Dollar Tree location near Lynnhaven Mall), for making my shopping experience quick and easy. She is an asset to the company. The store was also clean, neat, and organized."
"Went here on Sunday. While using self check out a balloon was hard to scan. The employee was rude, pushed my wrist to the scanner to ring it up. Never put hands on a customer. If you don't want us using self check out say so. No reason to be rude n put hands on a customer."
"I went here today to get Christmas gift wrapping items. I bought large Christmas gift bags, decor boxes, tags for the gifts, and bows. They have everything you need for Christmas. They have a huge selection for all your Christmas needs. The staff is very friendly and checkout was a breeze. I was in and out very quickly."
"An okay dollar tree. I frequent here, but had an odd interaction today that prompted this review. It's overcast, and the cashier basically asked "if I would mind" buying a poncho for some random lady supposedly waiting outside "in the rain.". She didn't ask for a poncho to my knowlege, nor was it raining. Regardless, it's extremely rude to ask a customer to buy something for another customer I hadn't even seen let alone met. its not even raining! I don't care that it's 1.25. Im at the dollar tree because I'M on a budget. If it's such a worry then pony up the 1.25 yourself. The store itself is fine, but I always have weird interactions like this with the staff."
"I went to Dollar Tree to get some items to donate to my Church’s food pantry. I had already bought 20 boxes of cake mixes but the icing prices were too high. I decided to also get gloves, rice, black beans. I bought 60 Items for my Church and 18 for my family. I had expected my total to come around $80 plus tax. But when they are more than half way through ringing up all I’m seeing on charges is $1.25. Hey this is the Dollar Tree, yet I’m not being charged $1. I asked as they almost done how much is $1.25. Said couldn’t say as most of it was off the screen. My total came to over $101. The only item for $1 was the candy bar I had picked up at the register. I checked my receipt. She lied, had to have known everything was $1.25.. I’m on a budget but most of what I got was for those in need so I paid. But it is going to be a long time before I go back to “Dollar Tree” again. It’s pretty much a lie now. Change the name as it’s misleading."
