"Worst place to shop. In spite of having an amazing selection of wonderful outdoor gear and firearms, the staff ruins the experience. Questions about products are answered with condescending remarks while another employee follows you around harassing you about signing up for a Cabela’s credit card and he won’t leave you alone no matter how clearly you state that you aren’t interested."
"I was in the market for a warm neck gaiter. They had two, a merino wool version and a lined camo version. The wool one was too snug, I don't like things touching my neck. Once I found the camo one, I asked a store clerk if they had any other warm ones in stock. They said since it was the end of the season, probably not, but they could look around in the back. The store was clean, tidy and well laid out. If you're looking for camping, hunting, fishing gear, boats, you should definitely stop in to see what they have in stock. They have MREs, old fashioned candy, women's clothes, ammo... The cashier was also very helpful letting me know about winning a $500 gift card. They had sales people on the floor and thankfully, no self checkouts."
"It's nice to shop around and smaller/less crowded than Bass Pro in Ashland, which I like. It is on a pricey side as these types of places are. Today, I went twice. The first time, I grabbed my two item in 5 minutes ($60), then spent 20 minutes standing in line with one cashier. There were six people in line and no one came to help and she never called anyone. She was super chatty with everyone about the survey on the receipt and a variety of other things. The second trip, I spent a lot more time shopping around and checkout was fast, but I had to find someone to scan items because there was no price on their rack (gun cases). The store was clean, well stocked and people were nice. Overall, I am pretty neutral about the store."
"Beautiful facility! When you walk in you will be asked to purchase a credit card before you can even see what they offer. Also they have about 89 employees walking around saying hello but when you go to check out they have 1 elderly man running the register for the entire store. Asked management if we could checkout at the club member station since they were doing nothing and was told yes, sent the next customer over there and she had to come back to the original line. Definitely not the way a large company should be operating."
"Great place I took the baby there for Santa pics and they were very welcoming. That was my first time there and it won't be my last. Amazing Santa. Great with babies."
