New Poke Surf

"Usually I go to Domoishi for my poke bowls but today I decided to try a new place out and that’s when I came across Poke surf. Prior to going there I looked up prices and reviews and everything seemed to check out. When I got there I walked in and said hello to the woman in the front and she said nothing back. I found that to be a little rude considering the amount of respect I get at domoishi but I decided to look past that. So I looked at the menu and I seen they had octopus, so I said excuse me and she looked up at me and rolled her eyes. I then asked about the octopus and she said they don’t have octopus which was weird because it was still on the menu. So then I proceeded to go over to the menu and circle what I wanted because that’s how they do it there and I handed it to her. I then got my food and tea and exited the restaurant. I ordered two bowls and two drinks and my strawberry lemonade honestly wasn’t that good to the point where I didn’t want to drink it because it was very bitter and had a Grady taste. Then my fiancé tried her food which was the (Hawaiian sunset) and she was enjoying it until she found a hair. There was hair on her mango and I also had mango in mine but it disgusted me enough to not eat my food and she definitely didn’t eat hers after that. We called the store back and they gave me a run around about getting my money back and stated they’d make me a new bowl even though I told them I wasn’t too happy so I wouldn’t get another bowl and wouldn’t be coming back. The girl said I’d have to bring the bowl back but I live 30 mins away and had somewhere to be. I then told her I took a picture of the bowl and she said “I’ll call you back” and hung up on me. We have yet to hear from her and I’m highly disappointed. I should’ve stuck with my original place and went to domoishi. If anybody goes here I hope your experience isn’t as bad as mine!"

"The food arrived hot and perfectly cooked. I found the Shumai sauce to be a bit too vinegary. And they are slightly smaller than I’m used to. The ramen Soup additions are fresh. And Tonkostu is extremely flavorful."

"3.2 ⭐️ We live within walking distance of this place and decided to finally try it. Pleasantly surprised! I got chicken and shrimp ramen, it was good , a little bland. I just wish I didn't put jalapenos in it. My husband got the spicy ahi bowl and his was VERY good. They also give you a card that gets stamped each time you go. 5 stamps is a free side, and 10 stamps is a free poké bowl. I'm going to build my own poké bowl next time instead of ramen."
