"We love Randy’s and feel so fortunate to have the shop close by. The staff is always friendly, always knowledgeable and able to help, and many times we find items at Randy’s that the bigger stores do not carry. Randy’s Hardware also has great hours. Another huge perk is that I can do Amazon returns using their UPS service!"
"It's easily accessible and has a great variety of products. The prices are quite affordable"
"Good for a small chain store. Not the most helpful to women. Good selection of items. Prices are higher than larger hardware stores."
"Very unprofessional service from Shirley (the owners wife ) and male shift manager. Upon arriving in the back of the store for UPS drop off the two of them were standing back there. Shirley had a very foul attitude towards me as the customer and continued to argue with me about my label not being received by them via email for print off. I stated to her that it shows on my end that it went through three times but it’s no problem I can try again if she’d like. She sent me to the front of the store saying it was my phone and not their computer. I went to front and came back she then had me waiting again while she was busy showing the male manager on shift how to do something. I said can you check your email again please I have my baby in the car with my husband and it’s 100 degrees outside I really don’t want to keep them waiting any longer. She stated for me to just wait. Moments later checks again and says “ Oh you must have sent it again” I stated I did not that it must have just come threw on their end and she again argued it was not their computer or service. I just assumed she was having a bad day and ignored the poor mannerisms from her. Then while awaiting for her to print my label she took a phone call so I asked the manager beside her if he could hand me the label and tape so that I could finish dropping off my package since she was busy at the moment. He just looked at me but didn’t hand me anything. Finally when Shirley was ready she got the tape herself and wouldn’t allow me to touch it for some reason. She applied a piece of tape across the front on the box. The package was not sealed properly and I was confused why she was not allowing me to tape my package. When I finally was able to leave my package for UPS pickup she handed me a handwritten piece of paper and told me to take it to cashier. I did and the cashier stopped me telling me I owed them $2. I was baffled. I asked what for. The cashier stated she had no idea but that is what the note reads and called for the male manager. When he came up front he asked what the problem was. I stated I didn’t understand the $2 charge. He said it’s for the labor and tape. I said what labor!? And I asked if there was a sign anywhere stating they charged for labor and tape because neither him nor Shirley informed me of this charge. He stated “ No there isn’t but you still owe us $2.” I said that’s ridiculous while it may only be $2 I could’ve went next door to Dollar General and purchased a whole roll and properly sealed my package rather than applying a piece of tape not even holding everything shut, plus I would not had to deal with the poor customer service I received from them. He stated “ Well you pay $2 here or $2 there it’s still $2 and that’s what you owe” I was extremely disappointed in the lack of information customers are made aware of this charge but even more disappointed in the very rude and unprofessional mannerisms the two had considered Shirley is the owners wife and the other the manger. I will not be returning to this place knowing they treat loyal customers in such a hateful tone. Note: Advance across the road offers FREE taping services with excellent customer service and packaging! FREE"
"spent about $10k here renovating a place, until one of the staff noticed i had DC plates on my truck, at which point it was made clear that I was not welcome. Wish that had been made clear before I gave them so much of my money."
