"Mezeh's service was a complete disaster. Despite ordering two bowls for two people, they managed to mess up the entire process. They forgot to pack one bowl, and after reordering, they sent the missing one from the first order, making us pay twice for a cold Mediterranean disappointment. The so-called "extra chicken" in the first bowl was a joke – barely any chicken pieces. The sauces and toppings were a chaotic mess. Mezeh is a total letdown, and I strongly advise against anyone wasting their time or money there. Never going back, and I hope others don't make the same mistake."

"Absolutely a wonderful first visit to a Mezeh location, and how befitting to experience the great ambiance, service and great food at the Lynnhaven location! There are so many restaurants that rival Mezeh in terms of fixing your own bowl, choose protein and anyway you want it toppings. Though others try, Mezeh is the go to place for great and fresh greens and toppings and what else could beat kabab, shawarma, choices of chicken, steak, lamb? Mezeh also has fountains of self-serve juice drinks- berry watermelon, kiwi, strawberry - just like Panera’s but more selections! The dining area is modern, light, airy, clean… very conducive to romantic or family get-togethers. Seating is ample and comfortable. Service is wonderful, you’re greeted by staff with a smile, who love to work at Mezeh, who are patient as you can’t decide which toppings you want! Definitely recommend Mezeh!"

"My new #1 spot in Virginia Beach for shawarma!! I love shawarma but typically I drive to Norfolk for it, so needless to say when I saw this place yesterday I had to try it!! The store itself I love because of its simplicity. Very European in it's design. I like the open concept ceiling and I especially love the outdoor seating. The store is very clean and well lit and the choice of decor is perfect. The store was insanely busy as it was opening day and they were giving away free bowls with every drink purchase. Even though they were super busy, the store was incredibly clean. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and my husband got the steak shawarma bowl. The chicken is seasoned beautifully. It does have some spice to it. I can't really do spicy but I could eat this and I would order this again. Typically I put a white garlic sauce on my shawarma. They have one that's a lemon garlic that is delicious! The Turkish salad that I put on my shawarma was delicious as well! I did try the steak shawarma it was cooked well nice and tender and the seasoning was on point! The only thing I can't give a raving review about that I tried was the pita. The pita I received was flat and cold. The extra one I ordered was warm but still pretty flat. It would like it if it was a little poofier so that way you could stuff it easier with the shawarma rice and all the fillings. One other thing I would like to note to anyone that has never had their juices before. There will be little black seeds in the bottom of your cup. That is okay. It is just because they're using real fruit!! The staff is super friendly and ready to help and answer any questions!! I will absolutely return to this place to try out a few more things on the menu!! This is my new go to one. I'm craving all things falafel or shawarma!"
