"I ordered through UberEats. Food arrived within a good time frame. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The “smoked Turkey” taste like salty lunch meat. Maybe the other meats would be better. But the sides… house made Mac and cheese taste like it came from a box, and the green beans tasted as though they came out of a can. Garlic bread was good. I couldn’t even finish my dinner"

"Nice, no frills BBQ restaurant in an unassuming shopping center. I had the baby back ribs lunch special with fries and a salad, and everything tasted good. The ribs were on the small side but the meat was soft and fell off the bone. I thought it was nice that this restaurant has daily lunch specials and not just on weekdays. It was a good amount of food for the price. Last, the service was prompt and friendly."

"One of the best BBQ eateries in Tidewater. If you have eaten at the historic BBQ's of the past, Simps in Hertford, Cowlings in Waverly or the route 60 Pierce's in Williamsburg, this is comparable to the mild vinegars off those pit cooked epicurean eateries. Friendly staff, great food."
