"So I never get upset about service. If you are bad I just leave you a standard tip (but I still tip). I was so excited to try their Apple old fashioned, well when I ordered, I ordered just a “old fashioned.” Thats my fault and I own it. But their service was horrible. I got there at 5:10. The bartender didn’t offer a menu or tell what the happy hour specials were. She took my drink order and didn’t even ask if we wanted something else until are drinks were done. It was after 6. I spoke to the manager and he said “I’m sorry” and that’s was it. Well they screwed themselves because I had a reservation there that same night. I paid for my drinks and left. For this one I feel bad leaving a bad tip because likely, she had a bad experience with some other black person and thought I wasn’t worth her time. But I am a FIRM believer in tipping very well. Even if the server is awful. So I hated to “prove her right” but I work hard for my money and all I expected was to be offered the happy hour specials and a menu. She probably thinks it’s because of my fault with the drink, but no, it was your service. I’m at Tx Road House where the service is great and the food is good too. So when this bartender gets this 30% (my normal) I will feel great for making their day."

"The experience was good overall. We had a show to go to afterwards but they wouldn’t seat us until our entire party was there (one was stuck in traffic). We asked them multiple times that we really couldn’t wait and finally after they moved our reservation from 5:30 to 6pm they sat us at 6:10. It really messed up our timing because getting our food was extremely slow. Multiple times we were told the “food would be right out” or “they are plating right now” and it was still a very long time. We ended up only being able to take a few bites before we had to ask for boxes and pack it up. It was a bit disappointing for me that I couldn’t sit and enjoy. On the food side of it the appetizer was okay. I had calamari, it was okay. Not the best and I probably wouldn’t order that again. The main entree’ was very good which is why I’m disappointed I couldn’t finish it when it was fresh and hot. The overall experience is about 7.5 out of 10 in my opinion. I will try the place again and see if it’s better without time constraints."

"I was in attendance at a Private Affair. The first impression was a good one. The restaurant is very nice. The private dinning room accommodated everyone nicely. The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. The selected meal was tasty, but room temperature instead of nice and hot to taste. The crab cake was not the best. It had too much filler and not enough crab in mine so it was not enjoyable as I know crab cakes to be. The other meat I was told was a grilled chicken breast, but my piece never tasted like a grilled chicken breast. The overall meal I would give a 6 out of 10. Overall Experience is a 10 out of 10. I would return because the ambiance was lovely and I would love to try an entree of my choosing."

"Made it early was offered a seat at the bar, but we had to wait for out reservation time to be seated. Shrimp cocktail was delish, potato wedges were huge, a bit messy but tasty, oysters raw and tasty, bits of shells of course but still yummy. Main course came quickly, so far the taste is great. The main meal, potatoes bland by themselves, steak very tender, not sure what they were hiding by using so many spices, a bit of seafood somewhat tasted, mixed together ok not sure it's worth what they charge. The desert menu came only one stuck out but not tempting enough."
