"I ordered the steel magnolia cocktail and it was absolutely delicious, the flavor combinations took me by surprise. The food was delicious, had brussel sprouts, short rib egg roll, lobster and crab cake sandwich with collard greens and the peach bread pudding. Also, service was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. I highly recommend giving them a try."

"I personally tasted the crab and lobster cake sandwich and the short rib egg rolls. The pimento cheese in the egg rolls added a nice salty flavor. The collard greens in the egg rolls were seasoned well. The greens and pickled onions paired nicely with the egg rolls. The cole slaw that came as my side smelled like fish. The actual crab/lobster cake was seasoned well and was moist. I’m told the fries tasted fresh and likely hand cut in restaurant."

"Get the Mac and cheese!! We had a wonderful dining experience last night. Ordered the pork belly appetizer and there wasn’t any left on the plate. We also got the braised short ribs amazing flavor and complexity and add in some of the creamed corn with bacon and it was even more heavenly. Comfort food at its finest. My daughter had the fried chicken which was crispy and delicious. And my husband tried the pork chop. The red beans and rice were SO good. But seriously , the mac and cheese was the best we have ever had. I can’t put my finger on it what made it so great, but it’s the most satisfying and amazing mac and cheese. Nicely browned top with savory cheese sauce and perfectly balanced. The servers and staff were so kind and helpful and took incredible care of us. Timing of the food was spot on. A true gem."

"Our brunch here this past Sunday was excellent - I'm looking forward to going back. Lillie Pearl is now one of my favorite restaurants in Richmond and is high on my recommendation list. Service: Wonderful. We had a reservation for 12:30 on a Sunday, and we were sat on time. Isabella our server was friendly; knew the menu in and out and was able to offer answers to our various questions; and was happy to take pictures (good ones, too) of our group. Food: memorable. The shrimp and grits were rich and flavorful. The bread pudding French toast was crunchy in the outside, soft and velvety on the inside, and a balanced sweet. Those dishes were some of the best versions that my friends and I have ever had. The fried chicken was good - it had a great batter and was slightly dry, and the house made hot sauce (it has more spice than kick) added some punch and moisture. Thank you to Isabella and the wonderful kitchen staff at Lillie Pearl for making an unforgettable brunch for my friend's birthday."
