"Got there at 5pm for family birthday- party of 4. Seated right away. Waiter showed up pretty quick and took drink orders. Waited 10 minutes to get 2 sweet teas and 2 glasses water. Waiter said no sweet tea but brought packs sweetener BUT no spoons. Was told biscuits ready in couple minutes. We saw Waiter bring biscuits twice to othet customers that had been there before us. 15 minutes later, brought salad (1), still no spoons or biscuits. 19 minutes later brought food, except for 1 order, still no butter or spoons. Missing order arrived in couple minutes. We asked for tea refills, spoons, butter. 12 minutes later brought butter spoons, we had used all sweetener on first order of tea, so no sweetener, but we had spoons. Don't know if problems were with Waiter, kitchen, or something else. Didn't have any contact with Waiter for rest of meal (43) minutes. Finally, Waiter check if we need anything else. We needed to-go boxes and bill. 10 minutes later got that. Food was great, service sucked. Waiter was polite but acted like he might have been kinda new, don't really know. We will not be going back. You can take this review any way you want. Oh, from the light over the table, the whole time we were eating, dust was floating down onto table food, drinks ."

"So this red lobster needs a makeover. The carpet needs to be pulled, the lights are super dim. Everything looks very old and faded. I did not appreciate the cleaning products being out on the floor while people are eating it just was not a good look. the service was slow. Our waitress was all over the place she could not multitask. I can’t even really give you a review on the Food, because she took forever to bring me a fork to the point. My food got cold, and I did not eat it. My mom fries looked as dry as Arizona, I did not see her enjoy her meal . She had the endless shrimp. She only got one plate of the endless shrimp. The service sucks. The workers needs to be better groomed. Their appearance needs to be better. Everything just look dirty and dusty. This place just needs to be shut down and it needs a good facelift . Even the lobsters in the tank look like they were over it. Shout out to the manager for taking care of us but besides that yeah I’m not coming back."

"My wife and I had a great time here. Our waitress was very polite, attentive and helpful and ensured we had a swell time. Service was great! My wife and I loved the food. We had the ‘Shrimp your way- Choose 2’ and the Caribbean rock tail. Both were delicious. One of the better seafood places in the Henrico area. Highly recommend."

"There's a new menu (see pictures) with lots of changes, some are good and more alternatives- in addition to the always changing "fests" each month. No matter how often you eat at this American restaurant icon it is absolutely worth downloading the Red Lobster app. It will save you the long wait with call ahead seating reservations. Their rewards are reasonable and great choices. This location has surprisingly great servers, really helpful. Seniors, disabled, and everyone is welcome. The kitchen is a bit slow and the interior has seen better days. Fresh seafood all the time."
