"The manager/owner Lilly is trash. Treats her employees like trash. Steals hours from them and doesn't pay them for staying longer. When price guns break from normal wear and tear she is charging the ladies $60 for a new one both against the law. She is taking advantage of these young ladies while I was in store I could hear her on phone calling a young girl dumb and she didn't know anything. Said she didn't have to pay her for staying later and closing store. She is real piece . I would recommend not letting your kids work here and boycott store. I will be reaching out to corporate as well as the Virginia employment commision"

"ZERO STAR REVIEW. The spike you see in the picture went through my wife's shoe, and into her foot. The "Acting manager" Shandrelle did not know where the first aid kit was, and acted genuinely disinterested that someone had been injured in the store. When my wife asked why they didn't sweep the floors or do more to prevent something like this from happening, Shandrelle's response was "Ma'am, this is a resale establishment," seemingly attempting to shift the liability for this incident on my wife for stepping on a spike in her store. The employees did not know their actual manager's number, or the number to their corporate entity, offered no help to my wife other than a paper towel, and didn't care to take down any of our information. We were not asked if we required medical assistance, we were treated as a nuisance and an annoyance, and the employees decided to play dumb until we left. The store itself was cluttered and cramped, and not well kept at all. NEVER setting foot in a Plato's Closet again, under ANY circumstance. There is no excuse for this at all."

"The lady with the face piercings or whatever was rude . No hello just put your stuff on the counter and come checkin. She was obviously agitated. Four items were Accepted, they were never worn with a denim skirt with the tag still only offering $13 for all okay. I said no and she leaves their black bucket with my clothes on the counter and walks away. Disgusting attitude I didn’t even want to stay to look around."

"Customer service far surpassed my expectations as a first time shopper. Ask for employee LKS and you will feel as if she’s your personal shopper!"

"Generally have a good experience with customer service. They have one of the most diverse selections IMO not just for women but for guys and kids as well. This location's biggest hangup is the ratio of staff to inventory leaving lots of missing pricetags and the excess inventory on the back wall racks makes it nearly impossible to sift through pleasantly. That said I would recommend this Plato's for sure"
