Kuba Kuba Dos

"I had higher hopes for the flavor of the food. Party of 6 stopped in while in town for a fútsal tournament. While the pork had "flavor" it had a very strong acidic taste that eventually became a little to strong. And the watery liquid from the meat leaked into my rice literally making it soup. Beans had no flavor, and rice tasted out of a box. As far as Caribbean Latin flavors I give the food a 5/10 rating. Very generic , like a chain restaurant. Didn't taste authentic at all. Also the yellow plantains were deep fried and flattened like u would cook green plantains, which was just weird and robbed the maduros of their natural sweet flavor. Plus side, Large portions"

"We had brunch on Sunday with a friend we hadn't seen for quite a while. I had the bar-b-cuban. This is a great twist on a normal BBQ sandwich. The Cuban pulled pork was moist and packed full of flavor. Our friend had the Cuban omelet - a twist on a brunch staple. For the third choice, we added the empanadas and a side of black beans and rice. There were enough beans and rice to serve all 3 of us - they were so good! The empanadas were crispy outside and packed full of flavor on the inside. Good food, góod friend, good times - we will be back soon!"

"I went to Kuba Kuba Dos with my family. The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the food was delicious! Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. I’m a super picky eater, but they were able to make accommodations for me. This restaurant rocks! The food is so yummy and everyone is very nice. Will definitely be coming here again!"

"The best Cuban food I have ever had in my life. Tastes like I am in Cuba! The food is amazing. Well prepared. Fresh ingredients. Great presentation! Aesthetically pleasing place and atmosphere. Love the music! I got almost everything off the menu. I highly recommend/suggest going out your comfort zone and getting something you’ve never had before. Kitchen staff is great, the non Spanish speaking server I had need a little more training and knowledge of the food, menu, and her job."

"I went here with my son for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. This is located tucked in a shopping mall, it's a very cute vibe, cute atmosphere. We were seated right away and had a super friendly and awesome server. She gave us the rundown of everything and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our food very, very much. Normally I hate the taste of asparagus, and I gave it a try here. By itself, it was awful, bitter... but dipped in the sauce on my plate it was pretty good. I had the shrimp with black beans, rice and cornbread. the meal was very tasty, but the cornbread was just okay. I like my cornbread to be moist like cake and buttery. This one was a lil dry and crumbly. Overall, I enjoyed this place and would go back for sure."
