"The food tasted great, was made with whole, quality ingredients, and was priced reasonably enough for what you get. I ordered a box of tater tots and an “everyday I’m Brusselin,’” which is one of their healthier options, containing quinoa, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, arugula, and an egg topped with sunflower seeds, all for around $17. The staff were also helpful and friendly, the restaurant was clean and had a fun, chic interior, and the food was ready in a few minutes, despite there being 3-4 guests before me If you’re in the area and want some quick, tasty food that won’t break the bank, this is a great option."

"Thanks to Noah and Ted for the great service. The shop only takes cards, no cash, so keep that in mind when you visit. I wanted a sandwich, but gluten-free bread wasn't an option. I ordered a bowl, which is very similar to the sandwich minus the bun. I thoroughly enjoyed the bowl, and I would recommend it to everyone. Stop by if you're ever in the Cleveland Park area"

"Nice-looking space and marketing/graphics design to draw in customers. I went in shortly after opening hours at 7am or so and tried the "Abe Froman" (sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich) and the "Seoul Mate" bowl (pork bits in rice and kim chi) for breakfast. The food is very underwhelming, in my personal opinion. Take a look at the Abe Froman sandwich (pictured) and notice how it's pretty much 60% a big, white fluffy bread bun. I felt like I was just eating really empty white carbs for breakfast. Also notice how greasy it was: the sandwich was dripping oil, sogging up the box. Make no mistake, this is a fast food burger for breakfast with a thick white bread bun and thin slice of pork and egg in between. The Seoul Mate was also underwhelming. The kim chi was cold, to be expected, but I regret it was not a great option as a breakfast choice, if you're looking for a hot meal. The pork bits were very small and crispy, with one egg to satiate your palate. Again, much of the filler (though there were some greens) consisted of white carbs, here in the form of rice. Cracked Eggery is trendy-looking, but also seems to fill up at least two signature dishes with detrimentally empty white carbs that make you feel full quickly, but not very satiated."

"Bacon, sausage, egg omelet, hash brown, cheese… inside a buttered and toasted white bun — is the Animal sandwich. Sort of tastes sweet but you get all the breakfast sandwich needs met in one place. Other than breakfast sandwiches, there are bowls with avocado and other fancy choices. And one of the bowls offered is Seoul Mate which makes me think the owner is, or has, a Korean mom. The place has picnic tables outside with umbrellas making it quite pleasant to sit outside. The tots are a thing. But I preferred the animal."
