"Ordered my food about an hour before closing but this should be no excuse. I paid $30 for 2 chicken sandwiches, already a red flag. Worst part though was that BOTH CHICKEN BREASTS WERE PINK. They tasted almost RAW and I honestly threw up right after eating it. Doubt I will ever give them another try."
"The serving sizes are huge. Great if you like a hint of Asian spices ( star anise) and spiciness. I ordered the not hot level of spice and it still got me."
"Mooo-ve over Chik-fil-a, Hot Lola's is here to stay. Wow, talk about a great chicken sandwich...and heat, yeah they have that! My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night for a bite to eat and we were very satisfied with the experience. This location is new and tucked around the corner of the shopping complex with Lidl on Little River Turnpike; so I was not surprised there were only a few customers while we were there and it was 8pm; so a little late for the dinner rush. I expect this location will be hopping as soon as more people know about it, because the chicken is just that good. Your meal is made to order; so you might have to wait up to 10 minutes, but aside from that being a very small amount of time, there are table top games in the dining room for you to play at your table while you wait. I picked a table with the Hook and Ring game and my husband and I tried valiantly and often unsuccessfully, to get the ring to be captured by the hook. It was a fun distraction. We both ordered the original Hot Lola chicken sandwich at the "OG Hot" (#6) level of heat. The chicken was crispy and a very generous portion of chicken. The flavor combination was on point with the sauce and accoutrements like pickles. The sandwich was a little messy to eat, but not greasy, more just sauce and yummy chicken juices. The only thing I would change next time is the level of heat. Level 6 was a little more heat than I like; so I would probably order a level 4 or 5 next time. Level 6 did not overpower the flavors of the sandwich, but the heat built enough over time, that it pushed the boundaries on what I enjoy, that's all. I was not sure how much of an asian influence the heat meter had and now I know. You live, you learn. Anyway, the waffle fries were also the best I have had in a while; very crisp on the outside and soft potato yumminess inside. The combo meals come with fries and a fountain drink. They also offer beer, cocktails and soon they will add wine to the menu. Needless to say, we will be back. Thanks for a great experience! :-)"
"Nice restaurant. I had the chicken sandwich. It was very well cooked. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The portions are quite big. The sandwich has a nice piece of chicken on it and the side of fries is quite big."
"This place is halal. They have signs as soon as you enter. I tried the hot sando. Chose the OG heat level, believe it was level 7. When the sandwich arrived its a big serving. In my opinion two ppl can share one sandwich. The spice level was perfect as described. The chicken was crunchy and with the sauces very flavorful. The buns they use are also not too thick which is good. Overall this was a very good hot chicken sandwich. One of my favorites! By the way, its located next to the tobacco shop. We had to drive across the whole plaza to find it."
