"This sucks to say but this place has very good food. The only issue is to get to it you need to go through a whole bunch of drunk guys gambling at the entrance ."
"This is not a deli in any sense of the word "Delicatessen". Cristi's Deli and Bakery is a Spanish language restaurant serving El Salvadoran fare. The one night I went in looking for a deli sub, just before Christmas, I discovered a number of broken chairs and tables populated by middle aged men, several of whom appeared to be intoxicated and were sound asleep, their heads buried on the table where they sat. There was certainly no social distancing, nor were any of the customers wearing masks. Part of the "deli" seemed to be under renovation, it was a mess. No deli meats or subs or sandwiches to be found. Did not see any baked goods, either, just a steam table with food inserts behind an unattended counter. Never did see an employee unless it was one of the guys playing video games at the entrance. Not very safe and definitely not recommended."
"Unfortunately, today my co worker decided to take me here for lunch and it smelled great and looked great. However, towards the end of the day my stomach was in knots, cramping, chills, low grade fever. I also had blood in my stool. I threw up the chicken 3 times in which I barley finished my meal. I had food poisoning. I just don’t know how clean this is or how they take care of the food, I am sad because I wanted to give this place a good rating because like I said, my first time and it did smell good and the store workers were nice. I did see the woman chef put knives or untinsls in this big bucket (almost looked like a cleaning bucket), definitely didn’t look stored away appropriately for a kitchen. I wonder what it looks like back there. All I can say is I don’t know if the food handling is the greatest their or if they are cleaning the meats properly. Worst part in these situations is people won’t come back. I know I cannot. I never had food poisoning until today and I eat out frequently and this was the only food I had all day. I do not think I will be coming back for the hot food."
"Very affordable, delicious and the best food i have eaten place is highly recommended! Could be great if add more coffee selections and half/half liquid cream."
"I think they moved to the 7 market at the intersection of Fairview park and 29 but the food is incredible for the price. Highly recommend the pork pupusas."
