"Cool locals! Harold's wife does the cooking and she certainly knows what she's doing. We are hooked, loyal, and will continue to support this locally owned restaurant. Outstanding!!!"
"First time here. Never again. Worse Chinese that I have ever had. 4 tiny slices of chicken in the Moo goo Thai pan and it had no taste what so ever. Also got beef & broccoli...steak was a weird color and no taste at all. The guy at the window was so nice and friendly and I wanted to love it so bad but its a No Go. Sorry to give a bad review but NEVER AGAIN!!!"
"Me and my friend were looking for a chinese restaurant to eat when we were in Kingsport. And we have seen the good reviews so went and tried it. The food was made fresh! You can tell with every bite. I was starving, I really appreciate the attendant at the same time the owner who was taking our orders and serving the food. We ate and loved it! Especially the spring rolls and wonton soup. Well, all the food that we ordered were all great! We are definitely coming back."
"I was really excited to happen on a new Asian restaurant when my GPS took me on an unfamiliar route a few weeks ago. I couldn't wait to try it - especially after reading a few reviews. I had planned on going to catch up with an old employer, but he had to cancel. To my dismay, he ended up being the lucky one. I was greeted promptly & seated promptly. The restaurant appeared clean & well maintained. My server was friendly & provided information about dishes when asked. I decided on the spring rolls & stir fried tofu. The spring rolls were quite generous in size. They were piping hot & wonderfully crispy. Problem was the flavor. The only thing I could taste & smell while eating them was GARLIC! I really couldn't detect any other flavors. I had been wondering the purpose of the shrimp sauce that was brought to the table & I tried it on the spring rolls & it somewhat cut the garlic & made them at least edible. The entree was a different story. There was NO saving it. It was totally, completely & entirely inundated with SALT!!! The fried rice was the same. I took 3 or 4 bites of each & left. The plates were barely touched, but there was nothing I could do - there at the restaurant or taking it home - to get rid of the salt. I was so disappointed in the food & so confused about the reviews I read. Maybe the regular chef was out for New Years Eve or just had a bad day. Either way, I'm sorry I didn't have the great experience so many others have & I won't be returning."
"Best place for Chinese food! It is made fresh when you order. I always get the Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice. Don’t forget to add their homemade Shrimp Sauce... DELICIOUS! Owners are amazing. They greet me by name every time I stop by. Hands down the best place ever!"
