"Took my brand new hp laptop in for repairs because the camera didn't work. Told me it was under warranty and they would send it off to get repaired. Should be a max of 2 weeks is what I was told and 2 months later I get my computer back completely messed up they replaced the motherboard and a camera part and in the disassembly of my laptop they broke the trim pieces at the bottom of the screen and damaged the screen when it always looks like someone is touching it pinnacle location is terrible and a joke fix your store."
"The Geek squad staff at this location is terrible. The customer service skills are non-existent. ln fact, they have been down right rude They treat you like a burden and use every tactic available to avoid providing service. I will not purchase there services going forward and will do my best to avoid using them for the facilitation of warranty on items that are covered by Apple Care, such as beats audio equipment. I wish Apple would reconsider using them to facilitate warranty processing."
"I have Geek Squad's cell phone insurance. I've had it in the past and it was helpful. Now it is completely irrelevant. My phone has been going downhill lately. I've spoken with geek squad and the phone center people several times and get new answers every time. It's never consistent. I was told my phone would get sent off and a new one would come in. When I came back at a convientent time to go without a phone I was told it wasn't done in store and given a number to call to have it replaced. That number ended up being apple support. Apple said they had no connection to Best Buy's insurance and I was lied to. They listened to me explain my phone's issues and said it was bad and wouldn't last much longer. My phone regularly disconnected from network, lost navigation services and finally died completely in one week while trying to get answers from Best Buy. I was told I hadn't been insured long enough to get a replacement. My two year old phone was insured for two years through them... I was told it was too old to be replaced and it'd cost $200 in addition to what I pay monthly. The man in the cell phone center said it would be cheaper to upgrade, only $40! Geek squad later told us no, $40/month. Geek Squad said that their insurance will replace phones within the warranty time apple allows even though apple will cover those repairs. Once outside of the warranty apple doesn't and then geek Squad adds a huge deductible. I have paid $200 in two years for insurance to tell me to pay $200 more to get a replacement."
