"These $129 ($99 with preferred customer discount) boots have been worn less than 10 times, approximately 2 hours each time. They were purchased in November. They’ve been kept in the box with original packaging/boot inserts after each use. Today when I put them on, I noticed the area where the expected fold from breaking in was BEGINNING to form across the top of the boot, was peeling. I attempted to exchange them, with all of the original packaging, and receipt tonight. I was told by the manager that none of this mattered, it had been longer than 30 days, and they don’t warrant their products. As you can see, they were presented to him, just like they were when I purchased them. This is obviously a defect, or quality issue- not a wear, or care issue. I’ve purchased shoes from them in the past, and found them extremely helpful. I am beyond disappointed with their policy. Needless to say, I do not recommend them, and will not make another purchase at Houser Shoes."
