"Quiet spot downtown. All the good parts of a little downtown bar/ kitchen and none of the bad. Burgers were huge, fries done perfectly. Confused Mac was amazing. Great heat level. Plenty of chicken and bacon. Worth every penny. Can't tell my mom about how good the pb pie is, apparently homemade by grandma. They come out from Tupperware cake dishes. No premades off the freezer truck."
"Was in town for a show across the street. Stopped in after hearing they had a diverse drink menu. Was really enjoyable experience. Staff was attentive and portion sizes were large for the pricing. Would visit again if back in the area."
"Great food! The burgers are wonderful. Love the atmosphere and staff is very friendly. Restaurant was busy! Highly recommend and hope to come back when in the area again."
"Here we are in a southwestern Virginia small town, Marion, and we arrive late and pick the place because of the name, Wooden Pickle, because it's late. It didn't matter to them, first class service and first class food! We did not expect delectable crab balls or crab puffs. Just WOW! Then I ordered the chili-rubbed Mahi tacos; six yums! Linda ordered the Mediterranean Flatbread, a real delish dish! The service by Ivy was exceptional. I aske Cody if he was a chef and he replied, "Kitchen Manager." Well in my noteworthy book, Cody is a CHEF, magne cum laude! It was a very comfortable restaurant that if we had not been so late, I could have enjoyed for hours. The owners Chris and Mike have created an exceptional local dining experience and we applaud them loudly!"
