"Wellllll I had heard a lot about this place and see it on the regular….so I decided to go in today….first sitting and service….Tables weren’t cleaned and also glasses were not properly washed….the server was a little smart at the mouth….my biscuit was uncooked…she brought me another biscuit and it was still raw…she stated “ is it not cooked to your liking”….turkey bacon and turkey sausage cold and over cooked….I like the chill environment but I don’t think I will return…. PS never scold your new employees in a customers face…that was tasteless…."
"I was craving some amazing southern throw down and I was NOT disappointed. The fried chicken was phenomenal, as was the mac and cheese, corn, and slaw! Kimberly was an attentive server. I’ll be back!"
"First off, AMAZING meatloaf! If you go, make sure you have yourself some meatloaf. Val, the owner/operator is sweet, friendly, and eager to make your visit a good one. Her attitude is such a blessing and a delight. Have I mentioned the meatloaf yet?! Good stuff!"
"First time for b-fast. It wasn't bad. I still prefer coming in on Sundays. Just something about that southern style cooking. But I love supporting locally-owned businesses. And when the ownership makes you feel welcome and is passionate about what they're doing, it makes supporting them even more special."
"Finally made it to Val's and it didn't disappoint. First, everyone was very friendly. They just installed a small salad bar. Fresh, clean and crisp. But let's talk about the meatloaf! Amazing! I have some sides, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, green beans, all good with the meatloaf. Then I had some fried chicken and more mac and cheese. Excellent. Everything, was served hot. Potatoes were very hot. This kind of meal would be perfect in the winter. Drinks are not part of the buffet and refills are not free, so minus there. To keep the bill down, just get water. Finally the dessert, which is included with the buffet, which tasted great. I got the Sour creme cake and it was great. It had a Pina colada taste, but that be just me. Last, I'm giving the atmosphere I'm give two stars, it was way too there. All in all, go check it out. They also serve breakfast, I'll need to try that."
